can he catch the ball ??? i can see him in a marshall faulk,westbrook type of roll ...quick dump offs in the flat or short passes over the middle to get him in space and let him do his thing ..kinda stange that he only has a few catches so far....i'm not really a big college fan so this is my first time watching him ..any fsu fans around that might know??
Cowherd (ESPN radio) was ripping on FSU coaching recently. During that segment, he mentioned how FSU had no idea how to use players, and cited Leon as an example. (He mentioned that FSU is 3-8 in their last 11 games against teams from BCS conferences not named Duke, or something like that.) If you believe Cowherd, then whether or not FSU threw to Leon wouldn't be much of an indicator of whether or not he can catch the ball. You'd have to ask someone who has seen him practice in the NFL, which I have not. All I'm saying is that his college stats won't tell us much about whether he can catch.
of course Leon Washington can catch the ball....he's a football player....in fact, if he played Nose Tackle, he would have more tackles than Dwayne Robertson.....
Hes a good reciever remember he took a few passes in pre season. He is a very very good screen threat
