This guy was all over the field yesterday and it should have been in a Jets uniform. we gave this guy a chance signing him out of the Arena League in '02 and he was going to make the team but he quit on us in TC then he came back w/ the rams the best year and has turned into a decent player. i hope he stays healthy but I hope he's always stuck on bad teams.
He did well cause we decided to take Williams out of the game so to the NYJ D he probably was a just a after thought
I am not really concerned w/ what he did to us yesterday it was more about what he di to us 4 years ago by walking out on us after we gave him a shot out of the Arean league.
Well it could be...Herm had a terrible record for: 1) position competition 2) starting anyone not picked in the first round that didn't ride the bench for 3 years. And event when he did, he'd stick with that player too long (see waste of roster spot for 3 years on kevin swayne).
Did you really watch the game yesterday? We did not cover him. We took out the No 2. Wr in the league. I may have played well without coverage. lol
The crossing route worked great for Detroit...Twice MM called out Furrey when I was just looking at the pass-rush, and twice Furrey got big gains on the cross route, one on Hank Poteat on the 4th and 10 I believe... Barely any zone was called yesterday, this team plays ALOT of man-to-man, which is cool...
Herm probably said, "Look, this is a great opportunity for you. I am a great evaluator of talent. I play all of my people, so you will always get a chance to contribute." Yeah, right. The guy probably realized that he was infinitely better than our "bumble handed" TE, but that he would have grey hair before ever getting a chance to play under Herm.
