    The title asks the question.

Assuming you could have any combination of the three, who would you want?

I am extremely happy with who we have. IMO Coles and Cotchery blow away any other combination. Moss had yet ANOTHER hamstring injury today.

I know a lot of people were always in Moss' corner, especially after the trade to get back Coles, but I'm curious if anyone feels that way now.

I like things the way they are now with Coles and Cotchery.

    Coles/Cotchery no doubt.

Moss is very good, but this is a very good combo we have here. They're both very complete wrs who can do pretty much everything fairly well. Moss is still just a guy who goes deep and can't go over the middle with the frequency of a Coles or Cotch.

i would go coles/cotch no doubt...i love how cotch seems to never want to go down....i saw a catch today where he got hit hard shortly afterwards, and he almost spun out of it and ran it ( reminiscent of the pats game) this guy doesnt go down without a fight

Moss is too inconsistent. Coles has shown this year that with a QB he is a top-flight WR. Cotchery is in his third season, when WR's have their break-out year and he is doing just that. I like our combo and would happily leave Moss with the Skins.

For the type of offense that the Jets are trying to have, Cotchery is a better complement to Coles than Moss is. Individually, I'd take Moss over Cotchery, but with the way things are needed on this team, Cotchery fits better.

I love the fact that this is also a very TOUGH combo. These two take monster hits and are always ready for the next play. I'm not even sure Cotchery feels some of the hits he takes.

I think coles and cotch are more complete wr's. Moss brings something to the table that the other two don't which is that ability to get behind a secondary. Which is nice and all but I would rather have a a good overall reciever. Any ball thrown anywhere near Cotch or Coles is usually caught and they will both fight for every last inch. Moss is a great talent but I would rather have Coles. It's still to early to say that Cotch is going to be on the same level, he has made some really solid plays but lets see where he is stats wise after the season.

There is nothing our Recievers have done this year to make me say, " I wish so and so was on our team".

WR is one of our strength's so far. All of them make the difficult catch and often times come close to making something out of nothing.

Now if we were to play this hypothetical game with NT's and DL's then maybe we would be on to something.

Moss is on my fantasy team, i watched the redskins game and didn't realize he had a hamstring injury, but while watching thought amazing how invisible he is.

Whereas while watching the jets game, i thought, i wonder if a team has a tandem in its receivers tougher than Moss/Cotchery, those two are unreal. take the hits keep getting up. very impressive.

Throw in dwight, and it's the toughest three receivers in the AFC if not the NFL

With Chad at QB and this offense, no doubt Cotch and Coles. I have nothing against Moss, he just doesn't fit in as well and is too inconsistent.

The reason I made the thread was due to the outright anger around here since we traded Moss for Coles. People went on and on about how we would regret the trade.

So far, Moss has continued to have his hamstring injuries, and IMO is still the same sissy I felt he was here. He makes big plays in open field, but when there is a defender on him, he craps his pants.

I just feel we are a lot better with the Coles/Cotchery combination than we would have been with Coles/Moss or Moss/Cotchery. And that's even with a different QB.

I'll always take a gutsy WR over a prima donna.

He only went out in the 4Q. He was just invisible all game. Nothing new to me, but I guess not everyone views him the way I do.

To be fair, this is Santana's first hamstring injury since his last year with the jets, and that one only left him out of the 49ers game which we won and went to 5-0.

Are you certain about that? I am all but sure that I saw a Skins game last year and he was out at the end after tweaking it. He's fragile in my view.

I don't know. It's possible. I found something he was questionable for a game vs. the Cardinals on 12/11/05 with a hamstring thing, but he did play. The week before against the Rams, he had 3 catches for 59 yards, so maybe that's the one. But I remember he had a highlight reel catch in that game.

I liked the trad back for Coles because of his chemistry with Chad, but I always thought Moss was a very good eceiver who was tough. While I don't have stats, I don't remember him being hurt much in '03 and '04.

I don't think it's fair to say Moss isn't pulling his weight this year in Wash -- Brunnel is horrible and the rest of the team isn't doing much either.

what is the point of this thread. they're all good receivers.

moss is on the redskins now, we can't get him even if we want to.

With Pennington, you can't have a guy like Moss, but say in an offense with most other QBs, I'll take Coles and Moss.
