Jordan is too old. He'll be in this 7th year next year and still hasn't proven anything. I don't care about backs at his age unless they are already proven big-time players. Abraham was out again.
Age isn't as much of a concern with Jordan as he was part-time for his first four seasons. He has one full season of carries last year and really hasn't gotten a ton of work this year because the Raiders fall behind early. He has plenty left in the tank, is passionate and can produce.
Hey, I liked him when he was here. That ship has sailed, however. I think he's out today, by the way. Or he's been benched. He had lost carries to Justin Fargas in recent weeks. He's not gotten the job done in Oakland. Of course, part of that is due to the fact the team is awful.
He's been banged up this year and is out due to injury. The OAK O-line is a mess and their QB/passing game is not a big enough threat to take heat off the running game. I like Jordan as a player, but am not in love with him like many people on this site. However, I think he is a guy that can excel in a good situation. (maybe not a 2nd but a late first day pick...not that it is going to happen)
Jordan is out?! The last time I checked he was listed as probable and was supposed to start. When was he scratched?
I don't put much stock in stuff like this but... A lot of posters will bad mouth players (especially QB's) who are all smiles on the sidelines when their team is losing. Well... Leinart is smiling and laughing on the sidelines (not even watching the game) as his team is about to lose to the worst team in football.
Before the game. His back was acting up. Sooner or later all the Jordan-backers will realize the Jets didn't err by letting the guy go.
This is like the fourth week in a row where my fantasy team gets screwed by a last second scratch. I wanna kill someone.
seneca wallace for the seahawks? remember that awesome play he had for iowa state but seriously, seneca wallace? didn't they play him at receiver in the playoffs?
Yeah, he caught a 28-yard pass against Carolina in the NFC Championship Game. He was the Seahawks backup QB last year. He was 13 of 25 for 173 yards on the season.
Rich Eisen on the NFL Network found a positive for Art Shell to build on---"He does have a nice new hat."
No more RB and or WR talks, come on LEON 115 yards, not saying he is a HOFer already but still this guy is a gamer, he comes out and plays his ass off, and cotch and coles are murdering defenses, all we need is a dominant TE for those 3rd and 4-9 situations, we suck at those, first round in the draft we need another OLB, hobson sucks, and vilma cant make every tackle he needs some help.
