Looks like so far Grudin is winning the power struggle with Snyder than Griffin. Right now I'm driving thru the Va-DC area and fans are calling RG3 a bust. Cousins didn't play well last year when he started. Last year Grudin started Colt McCoy over Griffin.

I want Petty to be the franchise QB more then most. I just wonder if our front office management panic and make a play here. Def something a Tanny would do.

I think we stand pat...just hoping Fitz stays healthy and plays without turnovers

If you trade for Griffin that means you've got to play him. I don't commit to him esp now with trading camp almost over. And why take somebody else's problems.

I'd take him on talent but the injury history is really bad at this point. Most guys with his kind of injuries just don't last much longer in the NFL. A QB with good wheels that keeps getting flats.

What about him is even appealing anymore? He hasn't been good in three years and it's mostly because of injuries but also because he rest of the league caught up to him while he hasn't evolved.

No. Not for anything more than a 6th.

Touché. I'd classify myself as a bigot when reading the GOP or religion thread.

trade? god no, why would we want that deal on our books?

Sign him as a free agent?… eh…I'd rather roll with our own Baylor guy and/or Geno, or Fitzpatrick if he's got a great 16 in him yet.

to sure how RG3's future will turn out past this season. will he be a backup, a Bill maybe if Tyrop and EJ flop?

He is due $16M next year and if any team traded for him I doubt he renegotiates his contract unless he is guaranteed at least $16M, which would be insane for the Jets to do. That $16M is not guaranteed but he knows if the Skins don't want to pay it next year he hits the FA market and there are at least a few teams that would throw some money at him.

Gotta love the Redskins. Snyder tries so hard and fails even harder, it's like football candy to anyone that enjoys the pain of the arrogant rich. If only Jerry Jones had been sterile.

RGIII in NY would be a nightmare in terms of media distraction.
Besides that I wouldn't want him.
