There is going to be a lot of underneath stuff with a QB like Fitzpatrick and a guy like Amaro is somebody he will be able to utilize.

That noodle arm garbage aside, I think Jace can be our Aaron Hernandez. Without the murdering people part.

Concussion last year, now the shoulder sprain. I'm not quite there yet but he's gotta stay healthy this year.

Amaro is a very one dimensional player, and i'm not impressed with that dimension.
also not crazy about his attitude or approach.

that said, if he can stay healthy and grow a set, this offense could be a very good fit for him.

I think Amaro will be fine--I'm just seeing growing pains--I expect he'll be a solid contributor by midseason.

For the most part ya, but he's only had part of one season. Early word out of camp is Amaro was working hard on his blocking skills and was much improved from last year. That alone says your comment about his attitude is bunk and you made it up. I'm not saying your post is bad, just that it belongs in the bullshit forum.

have you seen him block yet? have you even seen him inline this year?

early word out of camp involved Geno showing great leadership traits.
in other words, it's the 'early word out of camp' which belongs in the bullshit forum.

Most receiving TEs see themselves as Wide Receivers, and they don't appreciated their HC suggesting they take on 300lb D-Lineman, and most don't. They stay one dimensional. So when Bowles said Amaro was working hard on his blocking skills it is actually a good thing. Saying a player who's working hard to improve their game has a bad attitude isn't fair.

That's ridiculous, you ever watch Gronk and Jimmy Graham block?

    Why have a one-dimensional TE?

One of those two is a killer blocker in the run game.
The other not so much to the point of being classified as one dimensional.
