I know that, but that's only part of the picture. Milliner was also benched three times in his first year. Add in the injury factor - you can't help the team if you can't stay on the field.

You know I have a point.

nah you do. I wasn't posting that to even disagree with you but rather point out how amazingly bad those picks have proven to be

another rex ryan and idzik blunder. Millner only had FIVE surgeries before being drafted. What a surprise he is always hurt?

This is surpising. Why would someone who had multiple injuries and surgeries in college, when he was younger and in a less physical league, still be getting hurt so often?

Judging by the logic in this thread. Devin Smith is already a bust.

Milliner is the definition of "shit happens". He has more than enough talent to be a starter. It's not like he has a chronic knee problem or chronic shoulder problem. Does anyone actually know how this happened? Did he take a helmet to the wrist or something?

If he's healthy (And that'll be the beginning of the season so all you people acting like this is Armageddon can stop it), he should play as he's an upgrade over everyone else on the roster not named Revis (Cro is good but overrated by our fanbase).

Why bother though? He can't stay healthy enough to get reps to get to a place where he can be a good corner. Dee was injured coming out of college and I was super surprised we drafted him so high considering his health issues in college and even during the draft. No way he was a top 10 pick and Idzik whiffed on this one. Dee is a bust and I say cut or trade him ASAP.

Dee IS a good corner. If he was healthy, he'd eventually be one of the best CBs in the game. Shit happens and it's not his fault.

The IF part is the problem with him. He's not a bad corner, he has a lot of upside and skill. But what good is all of this if he's rehabbing all year?

Why be sorry? He was given a chance and he could not stay healthy to take that opportunity and run with it. I think the jets need to move on from him at this point.

Damn Dee, hope you can bounce back strong from this and STAY healthy.. i really think Dee has a high ceiling but you can't prove yourself from the IR list. He should be back in October so he'll still have some time to show us what he's got

To be fair, milliner only missed one game in college and most viewed him falling to 9 as a steal rather than a reach.

    How wrong everyone was.

Good thing the self proclaimed best CB in the league wasn't being counted on for anything more than nickel coverage, if that...
