We didn't have Shula but we weren't that bad. I think Dan would have been great here, but you never know.

I'm not sure if this was already mentioned but the Richard Todd interception late against the Bills near the goal line was a real heart breaker. I really thought we were about to complete an amazing playoff comeback.

Most likely, the Van Dyke fumble is when I finally gave up hope. After suffering through those miserable '90's jets teams, that was the play that ended the Superbowl dream for me, even it was already over for everyone else. Seared in my brain for eternity.

Hold up--- I never said he deserved one, just that he would have gotten one.

    Drew Brees
    Sid Luckman
    Terry Bradshaw
    Fran Tarkenton
    Joe Namath
    Sonny Jurgenson
    Dan Fouts
    Bart Starr
    Roger Staubach
    Len Dawson
    Jim Kelly
    Aaron Rodgers
    Tom Brady
    Kurt Warner
    Joe Thiesman

    Lol you are nuts.

Dan Marino but for one SB win was the best QB in the history of the NFL.

Some of those names you threw up there are ridiculous.

    Theisman? Bradshaw?

4-5 guys may have been better but ONLY because they have rings.

    Too funny.

    I don't know about that.

Many of those guys have championship rings or multiple SB appearances.

    Marino has neither.

So Doug Williams and Trent Dilfer are better than Marino? Marino was one of the all time greatest pure passers in the history of the league. And he never had an oline in front of him? Sonny Jirgenson?
