The abuse is because he kept getting tested and kept getting caught with substance...NFL does not suspend you after the 1st time of testing and getting caught. It takes multiple violations to get to 4 game suspension. Shelden acted like a idiot and that bravado needs to humble his ass, because this takes a huge hit on his image.

Well we know he is not a crack addict. Our resident marijuana smokers can attest to weed being a addiction or not. I actually never tried it. I always passed (do wish i tried it though, who knows I may one day)

Amazing how you can make all this money and have this great opportunity in life and still be a bonehead. You screw over yourself, your teammates and the fans. Next time shut your mouth during the offseason. The NFL, MLB and NBA should start punishing these guys more harshly. 4 games is not enough it should be lifetime bans. Can he still call time outs though?!!!!!!! I just don't get it. No matter how harmless it may seem or illegal something is, why can't you just put it down for the sake if millions of dollars. I think weed should be legal but to say it isn't at least habit forming is irresponsible.
