In my honest opinion, he shouldn't be suspended without firm evidence as much as it pains to say.

However, if one of these equipment guys comes out and rats out Brady or provides proof, the house should come down even harder than 1 season suspension. This would mean Brady would have lied, covered up, directly cheated, knowingly did so, refused to cooperate, and this occurred under the organization.

I would agree only because at some point the cover up is bigger than the crime.

Fuck this Brady had nothing to do with it he's just complicit.

If we're all honest here, who's the brainchild of this operation? I mean c'mon.

Their footballs were never recorded prior to the game. They were not off by 2psi as mortensen had reported, they were off by an average of 1. 3 out of 4 Colts balls were tested below 12.5. The refs tested what, 4 colts balls - over half came in under and they just said 'meh - and threw the rest of them all back in the game? Are you kidding? Those balls started at a higher point in the first place, were under and they didn't even bother to check all of them? But I'm supposed to take their word that they actually did their pre-game check?

That's a detail that can't be ignored, unless you hate the patriots and want the consolation prize of watching them hang. Then you can easily ignore it.

That might not actually be true, I don't know how the law works for text messages but for a phone conversation unless I disclose to you that I am recording our conversation anything I say to you is not admissible. If that general principal is in play they would only have text messages between the ball boys as they don't have access to the ones between the ball boys and Brady because Brady denied them access to that.

Not likely, I'm not sure everyone says things like this about the Pats, they got lucky with Brady yet look at the guys they've drafted and none of them have had much success outside of an 11-5 season by Matt Cassell where he was still throwing to Randy Moss and Wes Welker. He also had Sammy Morris and Kevin Faulk who both had over 850 yards from scrimmage. Throw in his RB's combined for 499 touches and only 2 fumbles. Yes 499 touches between Faulk, Maroney, BJGE, Morris and LaMont Jordan and 2 yes 2 fumbles.

    The other guys
    Kevin O'Connell (3rd round pick)
    Ryan Mallett (3rd round pick)

    have been shit.

The only guy they've found who has had any iota of success in the league after Brady was Hoyer who is an average to at times above average QB who was undrafted.

This isn't a criminal court case where the test is "beyond a reasonable doubt." They don't need a smoking gun. Hell, former Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez just went to prison for life without a smoking gun so Pats fans should be aware of this stuff. What you do have is enough circumstantial evidence to paint a narrative that only leads to one conclusion: Brady directed these guys to deflate the balls after they were inspected by the league to intentionally circumvent the rules to give himself an advantage. In exchange for doing this he gave them autographed merchandise and when caught he lied about his level of understanding both when it comes to his ability to tell whether or not the balls were inflated (demonstrated by his past comments about liking balls with less air in them and the texts between the two employees stating he was complaining about how they were inflated) and his familiarity with individuals involved. There is also evidence to suggest he specifically attempted to influence and obstruct the investigation by not providing his cell phone data and calling "the deflator" several days in a row and having him brought into the QB room. Are Pats fans saying they were exchanging cookie recipes? What's the explanation for that? The only one that makes sense is they were working on their story together and/or Brady was bribing him to take the fall in exchange for who knows what payment.

I've heard Pats fans say there isn't enough evidence, there isn't a smoking gun, etc...but what is the alternate narrative? If they can explain why a part time employee would take it upon himself to deflate the balls, why these guys were texting specifically about Brady's dislike for the amount of air in the ball, why Brady is paying them off in merchandise, why Brady lied about his understanding of inflation and McNally, why he refused to give up his cell phone, why he spoke to McNally multiple times immediately after the AFC Championship game which he hadn't done in months (and had a super bowl to prepare for) and why people should, in general, give Brady the benefit of the doubt when he's been involved in cheating in the past.

If they can provide the answers to those questions I'll be willing to listen to them but the reality is that they don't have the answers to those questions so instead of addressing the issues at hand they try to undermine the credibility of the report and deflect blame to other areas. But, again, this isn't a criminal trial so the test is lower.

I think you guys are going to be very disappointed. Albert Belle was suspended 7 games for corking his bats.

Maybe Brady gets a game suspension. And a nice fine for him and the organization just for the way they've bleated on about how victimized they've been.

    Just my $ .02.

I hope when they announce the suspension they arrogantly joke about how the Patriots should've read the rule book, like assholes....kinda like how Brady did that very thing after the Ravens game

    Same as phone.
Mass is a "two-way" state: you need permission of both parties to use txt.
They saw damning txt on the Deflator's phone and asked Brady for his. I bet the request was specific because they already saw txt, but couldn't use it without second permission.

You mean JG will beat us with a regulation football? Bradys* suspension is well deserved and Garappolos time just got moved up . Inevitable for hin to play in AFCE.

He was turned down by Idzik, that moron, so he does have motivation to play well. Could have been a Jet and I liked him alot. No matter how good he is our D is nothing hes seen in college so this wont be easy for him.
