Ray Lucas talks in cliches and takes opposite opinions from himself in same conversation Westhoff, so dated, talks about Kick returners when there are no kickoff returns Tony Pauline?? a low level "draft expert" Just awful
To me Westhoff is a Rex apologist. You'd think he'd know better than to defend him since he coached under a real HC in Shula.
my wife DVR'ed this show instead of the NFL Draft (day one) so I had to watch it. Started out OK but I was sound asleep 10 minutes in.
I agree. He made comments about how Rex is a better coach than Bowles--that Bowles defensive schemes are much simpler. He is a bit of a blowhard. But you can't deny he was a good social teams coach. I re-watched game 1 of the 2011 season against the Cowboys. That blocked punt was great. Then Revis made that pick. To bad after that game it all went to shit.
Westhoffs special teams units were atrocious the past few seasons and while he is knowledgeable about a lot of things, the guy sometimes talks like its the year 2005.
