Detroit is NOT going to be an easy opponent.

Usually, I don't take opponents lightly. But Detroit is REALLY REALLY bad.

I can't believe the Jets have a real shot at 8-8 this year. What a cupcake schedule.

Dont remind me. It was in 2000. We were 9-6 and had detroit at home. A win gets us to the playoffs. They beat us 10-7 and then the next week we lost to baltimore to get eliminated

Oddly enough, this game gives me a weird feeling. I'm a little worried about all the talent at WR that the lions have. But at home, I'm still confident the jets will put it out and get to 4-3 on the year. Jets 31 - Lions 23

You're the same type of bipolar fan that's gonna be posting the 'we suxor' when things don't go as well as you say.

Detroit has a similar situation as ours....and they have some serious playmakers that can shred our defense.

If Kevin Jones can run on Buffalo what do you think he can do to us. What about Roy Williams? We're in for much more of a battle then you realize.

I just read on KFFL that Kevin Jones got banged up, and he's listed as day-to-day. If he doesn't play, I'd pencil it in as a win for sure.

Now hold on a second Drew. Even Derrick Blaylock could run against our D. :)

Hell, i just traded for jones too....

That just means a backup is going to run for like 115 on us.

Kitna;s M.O. against the jets has always been flinging the ball down field . So we better be ready for some long bomb's .(He's got the arm) Im expecting alot of improvment this week and the run game will finally take off.

This is my quote of the day.

Winston was there for awhile, but this sums up where we are at on D right now. Very good.

Lost two damn playoff spots because we couldn't beat them in 1997 and in 2000. In 2000 the Lions were crap, too. At least in 97 they were a playoff team.

Thanks for the diagnosis, Dr. I wasnt aware I was bipolar.

I like you and hate you at the same time...weird.

For the record, I do believe we suck right now... I just think Detroit is really really shitty.

Both frustrating games. We did beat them pretty good in our last meeting four years ago 31-14 in Ford's Field, although the Jets have not beaten the Lions at home since 1979. I think that will end this week, though....

Can we PLEASE score a TD in the first quarter.

Let's come out fighting and see what happens.
