Lattimore has starting experience. He's my favorite depth add so far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ha ha ha, I will be paid to never see the field, and stink when I do.. Seriously nice to see roster depth being taken seriously for a change.
It will be interesting to see if Ijalana winds up being anything more than a camp body. I like the Lattimore signing. He definitely improves the ILB depth, and I think he's supposed to be pretty decent in coverage, but it's been a while since I read up on him, and may be wrong.
These are the players that determine how good our Special Teams can be. Don't know much about him but as a back up Line Backer he'll be in there on every punt and kickoff.
Really like that this regime is committed to bringing in these veteran players for depth. We haven't seen that in a while as most of this team's depth over the past several years has consisted of highly inexperienced UDFAs and often practice squad-caliber guys, especially on the OL; this year will be the opposite Given that Brewer, Hilliard and Colon were brought in, I'm surprised Ijalana got resigned, but it's all minimum deals (though I expect Lattimore to get slightly more), depth and competition, so no complaints. As others have mentioned and as I've read, Lattimore has coverage ability and plays special teams well, so he'll be useful. It'd be nice if Ijalana, as a former 2nd round pick, turns some heads, but obviously not counting on that
