He's getting it done people! The man has made some pretty ballsy moves but so far, we're all feeling pretty giddy about most if not all of them. It still remains to be seen just how many wins these moves translates into but we're all feeling pretty damn good for once! Kudos Mac! You're already making everyone forget the Idzik experiment and the Tannenbaum Era with these moves. For once, even this old Darksider is feeling pretty damn good!
Amazing that when I woke up this morning most were calling him Idzik 2.0 and now there is a thread praising him.
Unlike some, I don't over react but instead, take the long view on most things Jet related. Years of disappointments will do that to ya! Just wait until Mac really gets the hang of being a GM.
I give Mac tons of credit. He made the team better with Marshall , and even if winning isnt important to Revis right now I gotta think atleast part of him doesnt want to be on a hole of a team like he was in Tampa. At the very least he would want revelance and that is what we are right now. If Mac ever finds us our franchise QB the fanbase might build a statue of him.

lol seriously? I mean anyone could do the Revis deal, it's all about offering him the most money especially now that he has his ring. But he certainly deserved a little benefit of the doubt after the Brandon Marshall heist and one of the best things about getting him is he was one of the few guys that held his own against Revis and now Revis doesn't have to worry about playing him.
What Id love to know..and probably will never know. Is why did this happen this offseason and not last? Was it Woody? Idzik's incompetence? Revis being a douche? I WANT ANSWERS!
Let's not go overboard here. I like the Mac hire, especially after hearing his press conference and subsequent interviews. However I don't know what Mac did special to get this done other than throw a ton of cash at a proven money hungry player. I'm thrilled Revis is back but Macs GM career will hinge on how he solves the QB problem and drafts.
Revis looked bad in Tampa due to his injury and horrible coaching. If we knew then what we knew now Revis and Cro (and probably Sanchez) would already be Jets.
