Unless the Jets were planning on moving to the west coast, this had a pretty poor chance of happening. On the bright side, it's gives them enough money to sign the next 2 free agent OGs for about the same price.

I'm growing frustrated.. but i'm trying to give this Maccagnan guy a chance. There's some names left... but the top tier guys are gone from free agency. Only reason i'm not going nuts is because i know we can't help what teams re-sign their own guys, and I know teams kinda jumped the gun early... but why are the jets still playing by the rules? These guys aren't even waiting to visit teams anymore they are signing left and right. We're just showing interest. We HAVE to spend. We HAVE to address needs. Our o-line is a lock to be the same or worst next year already. Mac said we're going to be AGGRESSIVE............ when? lol

of the top 50 or so free agents maybe 1 has actually signed with a team that wasn't their original team - why cant we be like all those other teams signing all the top free agents - oh yeah that's right there aren't any...
I dont know why people are acting like we were going to sign every top free agent. Yeah I wanted Iupati but I can get over that. Its not like he chose Arizona over only us. Bills, Bears and Raiders were all interested in him as well. Lets wait and see where the other 10 available olineman and 20 available defensive backs go before we all shit on the front office.
Don't stress... When things look bleak, just remember idzik still could be here setting the orginization back another 3 years. Have faith. If this guys do an awful job in fa and the draft, will still be head and shoulders better than idzik.

Holy crap people, we didn't land a free agent the world isn't ending. He probably wanted a contender like Arizona who is a QB and 1 or 2 linemen away from being a real threat. It's not like Mac didn't try to get the guy, reports were saying we were pushing aggressive for him. Mac can't do anything besides offer a piece of paper with numbers on it. Stop acting like the world is ending.
These guys know where they want to go and shop offers from teams they don't want (jets) to get more. That's why I hope revis bitch-slapped mccourty for taking less to stay in new snowland.
