Yup. Exactly why we need to push for Suh. It would alleviate us from having to get a dominant pass rusher. We would have the best defensive line in the league and possibly of all time.

It's a signing I think Bowles will really want to happen.

Hell no to Suh. McCourty, Cro, Orlando Franklin, and extend Wilkerson. Also, find depth for the linebacking positions. CJ Spiller too.

i normally would say no we are stacked on d line.

But this line would allow us to target lesser CBs....Our line would be so good that it would be almost all-time madden like...it would be devastating.

No I can't because no team can afford Suh, Mo and Sheldon. I could understand the move if the Jets had Manning or Brady at QB. Why murder the cap when Geno can still lose games regardless of how good the defense is. I doubt Suh is remotely on the Jets radar.

    Doesn't Bowles run a 3-4 anyways?

Having a line like that would take so much stress off of the secondary and the linebackers. That defensive line would be in the backfield on every play. Allows us to spend less at corner and help build up the young guys.

We need to go after Suh.

Suh is not an edge rusher. He would solve nothing for us. Total waste for this team for the money he's going to command.

This team needs a new offense, CB's and edge rushers.

If an edge rusher is there at #6 and neither of the QB's or WR's are there, then I'm all for going D with the first pick.

However, this team should be looking at CB's, veteran QB's and WR's in FA, first and foremost. Everything else is secondary (no pun).

Suh or Revis if the Jets had to give huge money to just one?

That D Front would win games and crush QB's. Suh, Mo, and Rich would be as fierce a group as you've ever seen. I'm sure Bowles would have a wet dream at the notion of it.

IDK about the rest of it. Just fantasizing about Hilfiger duckin for his life back there.

You get a QB that exhibits a basic comprehension of the the concept of ball security and you're in the game. Obviously that's not Geno.

Pushing for Suh makes no sense at all. He's not a fit for this team.

First, Bowles is a 3-4 coach like Rex was, he'll run some 4-3 as well like most coaches do nowadays but his base scheme in AZ was a 3-4. So, the only way Suh fits is if we ask our coach to switch to a 4-3. But even if we did, there are still problems with doing that.

Suh is a DT, so he's playing inside. Richardson would have to then move inside. The Jets then have zero need for Snacks who would find himself out of a starting gig with the Jets and likely off the team.

Then, sure, you can slide Coples to the other 4-3 end spot that Richardson now vacates. Thats fine, but now your assuming Wilkerson can be just as effective in the 4-3 as he is in the 3-4. Wilkerson has very little, if any, experience as a 4-3 DE.

He's currently way to big for it right now to begin with, so now your going to ask him to cut probably 30 pounds to go into next season. That's a lot of weight. We don't know if Wilkerson would be the same player at 270-275 as he is at 305.

The Jets have a good thing going on the D-Line, it makes no sense to change that up now which is what would have to happen if the Jets added Suh.

Maxwell and McCourty will be the new M&M boys holding down the left side of the field. Woody needs to open that old wallet of his, dust out the cobwebs, and throw some guaranteed money at McCourty to minimize his cap hit.

If Houston hits the market we have to back the dump truck full of cash to his door step. We play in a division with one of the greatest qb's of all time, lets make his life miserable for 2 weeks out of the year.
