those stats are always based on tickets sold, not who shows up. so the jets, with a PSL that is basically a binding contract to buy season tickets, actually make sense being up that high. but yeah if you looked at our stadium on most sundays this year without knowing that, you would think we were battling with the jags for worst in the league

Steinbrenner did. And because he did? He made more money than anyone else.

Just too add insult to injury found out today the jets want the season ticket holder to either pick up their crap reward or pay 8 dollars to ship it to you.

I think the goal of those organization is to try and get every season ticket owner to give up their seats

    This organization is run terribly

Now that is really funny. 8 dollars to ship the reward to you?

Hey man that's high quality shit there. Imagine if it arrives damaged? Then the sucker, I mean season ticket holder will have to spend his own money to send it back and who even knows if they'll have enough in stock to replace it. He may end up with a Tebow jersey.

You are right that there are better ways of showing it, and jesse33's post is mostly a cynical rant. There's no way a representative, especially one with the authority he mentions would tell someone the program was designed to trick fans into coming to games by making false promises -but the substance of his complaint has some merit, and your implying that the team is 'giving away high-end items to all fans' for free is laughable. Please don't act as if we dedicated fans who bought PSLs should be grateful that we have the chance at winning a 'used sideline gatorade towel' for attending two meaningless preseason games, TWO Monday night home games, one late season in miserable weather that was meaningless, and a bunch of other disappointing games we paid full face value for but were worth far less than that on the open market. If I could have known the free 'high-end' rewards were going to be so pathetic and so arbitrarily priced, I would have skipped the MNF games and gotten well needed rest on a work night instead.

I spoke to a representative myself and complained. All I ask is that the program has some intergrity to it. Don't pitch it to PSL owners as a Mariott when it's a Knight's Inn . The rep acknowledged that the program had some problems that they need to fix, which was encouraging, but I said it has a long way to go. I gave them my own ideas, like auctioning a game worn jersey to be awarded at every home game to the top bidder. THAT would be worth the dedication of being a 12th man at all 10 games.

Adam, the guy in charge of the program said they knowingly lowered the price of good items early to motivate season ticket holders to go to preseason games and go into the stadium early. This is a direct quote from him

The organization should be doing anything they can to keep season ticket holders not deter them with false promises
