Ha, nice little video showing One Jets Drive and their offices with Mac and Todd coming in for their first day on the job. Man they cleaned house out there...Mac looks all geared up ready to go and you can genuinely see the excitement on Todd's face. It's a completely meaningless video, but man, Mac comes off as a BOSS. I was not expecting that at all. The whole, green-maybe-not-ready-scouting-only-guy-might-need-help-in-other-facets rumblings had me expecting an introverted, almost rainman-like scout. Nice to see he's not like that! TB looks a little nervous/uncomfortable with the fakeness the cameras create, but Mac is just smooth and decisive in what limited speech and actions we see. I liked the hire, but I'm now much more intrigued by him as a GM. Ah, the life of a fan - we know almost nothing when it comes down to it.
Lol, I know it was probably just because of the weirdness of the camera being on them but that was such an awkward coach-GM interaction. "Good morning, have you been having a good morning? It's a great morning right? What a good morning. Did you sleep well last night?"

It was awkward but cool at the same time. The office was almost symbolic, Bowles truly has a clean slate as the new leader of the Jets. Seemed like he really was meeting his secretary for the first time. I wouldn't have minded hearing some more.
Bowles came off pretty humble, even saying hello to the camera people as he walked in. Pretty soft spoken, professional guy. Nothing wrong with that. He kinda looks like a Ninja Turtle with a shell underneath all of the suit and tie lol I said the same about anytime I saw Mike Singletary as the 49ers head coach but of course Bowles has far more experience as a coach and really should not bomb anywhere near as bad as Samurai Mike. Mac probably has a little humor in him that he might not have been given credit for. Might be a surprise press conference guy in all honesty but its all so premature given this has them barely in the video.
Well certainly neither one of them will be landing a role in the next Adam Sandler movie. Yeesh are both of them bad when the red light comes on.
