    Agreed!!! I thought that if we could lock up Bowles we needed to do it cause with the new Denver opening Quinn was not a sure thing and to wait till maybe Feb. 2nd would be to long.

    Thanks, sounds legit then. I hope this is the case, players coach, defensive guy but not to a fault like Rex. Perfect fit if you ask me.

    Like I had said with Quinn, it all depends on the OC to me. He's never coached offense unless you count the three games he was the interim head coach in Miami. If we can snag Shanahan, that's one hell of a transformation in one offseason.

    As for Bowles.. Sounds like Woody is about to seal the deal.. Dinner AND spending the night? That's usually a sign of a good date.

    You didn't respond because you have no answer. You didn't wanna use the Chiefs as an example because the QBs sucked. You didn't wanna use the Dolphins as an example because it was too long ago. Newsflash: the only other times he was an OC came before he was with the Dolphins. So what is it you're basing your opinion on?

    Pains me to say this because I loved Rex but name me the last head coach to win a Super Bowl not named "Pete" that wasn't a complete wet blanket.
