That means after each win/loss/tie, we can get down, up or just wonder (In the case of a tie) for 24 hours before we move onto the next game. That way, we don't beat ourselves up too long because of terrible losses like this; and we don't get too high and unrealistic after a big win or string of wins. We can be very healthy and enthusiastic Jets fans with this approach. What do you all think?
I'M DOWN! But it's going to be fairly difficult to enforce because of all the future negative threads appearing w/in the next few days. It will be hard NOT to respond to any of them.
I like the rule because I still have to be here in Jax after this BIG loss and I'm never going to hear the end of it! I was at the grocery store yesterday decked out in my Jets gear, and all of these fair-weather Jags fans were trying to call me out. These are the same people that don't even show up to their own games, that's why they have to cover 10,000 seats so that they will not get blacked out every damn week. Right now, the defense that works for me is that at least we won a Super Bowl within our first 10 years. Another one is, we had never lost to the same team 3 times in one season (Like they did against the Titans in the '99 season while going 14-2 in the regular season). As you can imagine, because I do sports radio here, I'm up for the grilling and can't duck away when things don't go the Jets way.
i agree ...its just the GLARING problems that show EVERY GAME.....like the 3-4 ineffective and is just killing us and NO adjustments are being made.
No kidding man, me too. For me, it's been an incredible trend/habit to turn on the game about 5-10 minutes late and ALREADY be losing by a TD. Time to play in the 1st QUARTER damnit!
Sometimes you need some time to think objectively... In this case, the Jets sucked, and there is nothing else to say... on to Miami.
