if they started simms the rest of the season and he did really well rex would look like the biggest jerkoff ! that could ruin any shot at another head coaching for him. therefore rex wouldn't dare even chance it.
Lately we've averaged 125 yards passing a game....yuck....probably should play a big house back field and no QB
I just took a vicious work shit. feels like someone funneled Niagara Falls through a straw. Gotta sit here and relax for a minute. Damn Indian peanut sauté.
I'm happy with Geno getting one more game. He needs to step up and show he can be a player. I'm not talking about managing the game or just not turning the ball over, I mean he needs to show some real ability. If he looks ordinary or worse, then I'd like to see Simms given an extended run for the rest of the season to see if we have anything with him. The whole Geno Smith thing has been just bizarre this season. All the talk was he didn't have enough weapons to work with, but in his first game with a brand new weapon in Harvin, he completely shat the bed. I haven't seen a QB look so detached from a game for a long time. What the hell was going on in his mind I have no idea, but I say give him one more chance on an extremely short leash. We almost certainly know all there is to know about him, but one more game can't hurt. I don't want to see Vick play another down for this team.
+1 -- 100% Excellent post. I don't think I've ever seen loyalty to such a degree its a tremendous fault.
Not that it really matters at this point as far as this season is concerned, but I pick Simms. I can't even stomach to watch Vick or Geno anymore. I understand they watch him practice and all but I would still like to see Simms and what he's capable of in real game. We're in rebuilding mode next off season anyways. F*ck it! Sink or swim kid.
