I go to UPenn and these first four weeks the Jets game has been on CBS here but I just checked the schedule and it seems like they are only playing the Bills game this week. I'm kind of freaking out. Is anyone in a similar predicament and what have you done? Does anyone know any bars that are playing it?
Yeah, Jets are opposite the Eagles game and this is a FOX National Weekend, so no Jets game on tv in Philadelphia. My suggestion is to go to a sports bar or make friends real quick with someone who has Sunday Ticket and/or lives in my neck of the woods. (I get both NY and PHI stations in Ocean County, NJ).
yup i would suggest the same thing make friends quick somewere out there, just tell them u will buy everybody the beer, and your in my friend lol
My wife lived in Philly temporarily, and when I went to see her, we went up to Jillian's at Franklin Mills to watch Jets games. Go early for a good seat.
This is the second time this year I have to use Sundat ticket for the Jets. PA is a pretty good Jets state.
There are tons of sports bars with Sunday Ticket in Philly. Find one that tickles your fancy & go, only thing that sucks is it is up against the Eagles/Cowboys game so whichever bar you go to will be filled with drunken Eagles fans.
I'm not sure where upenn is but if your anywhere near Pitts, there's a million bars you can watch the game in. Even though the games are on reg TV in NY, I still go to watch all the games at Napper Tandy's in Northport. A couple of my friends are giants fans, but, we all have fantasy teams so it's nice to be right on top of shit.
I don't recall any exact locations but there are tons of sports bars in the city that show all the games and if you search online I'm sure you'll find them. It would probably be good to find a place to watch the games when the jets aren't on because the jets are usually not on as much as they have been this year. The steelers always get preference over the jets. Seeing the jets on against the titans and the bills was somewhat of a miracle.
I'm in West Philly 33rd and Walnut. but I dont know I have a feeling I may be out of luck. I feel like theres always someone who records it and posts it up though? is it worth it to get the nfl.com radio thing for the month ( its like 10 dollars?) so i can listen at least
