Why don't people man up when they see that type of shit and jump on the asshole who did it? Instead of waiting on security or calling them. Not jumping on you just wondering?
Seriously? Picture, if you will, 40-50 unrelated people in clumps of 2 and 3 and 4 people leisurely strolling in an organized mass towards our gate, civilized, men women, sons, daughters, old people, young people, families, football fans--a GLORIOUS day to go see opening day. Completely unaware of our surroundings other than having our minds on this magnificent game--the opening of a new season. We're walking past the construction site so there is a fence to our left and the parking lot to our right--we're kind of constricted as to where we are being funneled. From BEHIND run 6 or 7 obnoxious (and what we realized almost instantaneously later, drunk) kids--18 or 20 or 25 years old--no idea--they dash through the group of people who are unaware that they are there. Again, we're walking, they are running--from BEHIND us. The last of the brigands--as he sprints through and past the group whips around and smashes a bottle across the older man's head walking maybe 2-3 paces in front of me. And he was gone, in a flash. Seeing the kid smash the bottle across the man's head, the thick dark brown glass breaking, him going down with blood immediately gushing out of his head was, I will admit, a tad shocking for the people standing behind the man and confusing to the people turning around to see what the commotion was all about. Maybe it was a few seconds, but within those few seconds those kids and the one assailant had disappeared into the mass of people milling in front of us. They didn't stand there taunting the man on the ground or linger around to take selfies with the man on the ground. They were gone. People almost immediately started yelling at them and calling for security, but again, these kids were GONE. What may be surprising to you is that unfortunately there were no ninja's in the group of people walking to the gate to whip out katanas or nunchucks to take out the group of hooligans as the assault was taking place. _
It's crap like this that makes going to games not family friendly even though the victim was probably acting like an ass.
Not everyone bro. There are civilized people in this world, and as shocking as this sounds, some of them are fans of NFL teams. Expand your horizons and you may see it yourself.......
i think its sad and pathetic when people get into fights over sports...grown men evem sadder... people do not know how to behave at football games.. im 27 and and season ticket holder with my dad since 1993... i see a stupid fight every game, people PAY there own money to act stupid and get thrown out, over a interests over sports teams... think about it like this... when you get arrested and when you go for a job interview and ask why you were arrested (if they did backround checks) " i got into a fight with someone becuase they liked the bills"
I was more or less talking about the shit that happen Sunday. What you saw was different and you had no time to react. Wasn't getting on you sorry if you took it that way.
i feel like shit for saying this but that made me feel a little better about that loss, fuck those bills fans they were fucking terrible at the game
This is why I don't wear Yankee hat in Boston This is why I rarely go to jet games and never bring my son It's sad that I have these feelings but alcohol is a hellova drug
My father-in-law grew up in Brooklyn, lived most of his adult life in Manhattan, and now lives on Long Island. When he visits us in NE, he wears a Red Sox hat. The first time he had it on I asked, "What's up with the hat there?" He smiled and said, "Camouflage."
Not saying what happened is right but it's not surprising that a fight breaks out when a Bills fan runs his mouth to a Jets fan in a shitty game like that. We don't know all the details either so who really knows the real story??? My main point was that I've been to plenty of Jets games and when booze and emotions bash heads things don't tend to work out. Usually someone ends up in custody like what happened to the Fan in the Pennington jersey the other ends up a little bloody. So there is nothing to grow the fuck up about buddy I'm just stating the obvious. Sad but True!!!
Here's what you said: "If the Bills fan was running his mouth he got what he deserved" What he got was knocked unconscious. You said he deserved it if he was running his mouth. I say again, "Grow the fuck up." Buddy.
You idiot. That moron should be banned from attending games. I'll never understand the mentality of supporters who get so emotional about a game that they feel the need to get violent. Clearly something missing from their lives...
