Geno isn't the answer so why not,id trade for him depending on what they wanted. Here's the package id offer the Browns Kyle Wilson,Dwan Landry,Geno Smith and a 7th round pick
May as well throw in two #1 picks if you are going to overpay. You think it would cost that much to get him if they are already looking to trade him. Nevertheless why the hell would the Browns want any of those guys.
Yes in fact I don't the the Browns would ever take that. His trade value is very high and will take a lot to move him. He is a potential franchise QB taken in the first round less than a year ago. He's not going anywhere, Hoyer shit the bed the last few weeks maybe he will be available in the offseason.
I'd trade Kyle Wilson to Cleveland for a nice steak dinner on their dime. Unfortunately they would probably counteroffer with meatloaf and even that would be something I would have to consider
Everybody is right.. it's a little early to call him a career back up but it SEEMS he won't live up to his hype. With that being said though, I wouldn't mind if he was our QB i like under dogs he could be a spark plug plus i like his leadership he fires his team mates up... dude is a winner. But in the NFL... we'll just have to wait and see his career can go really special good or really tebow.
I was dead set against the Jets taking Manziel in the draft this year, but it's not because I can't see some future potential in him. The Browns dealt with drafting him in basically the best way possible, which was to get him into a backup role and win some games early on. If there was any chance for Manziel to be successful in the NFL, a season on the bench was the way it had to start. There is still zero chance the Jets get Manziel before the trade deadline or this offseason, but even if there was I wouldn't want him to come here.
Bringing Manziel here will bet the final, irrecoverable step backwards in a long winding road of screw ups by the Jets organization. If they do it will be fitting to change the name from the NY Jets to the NY Clowns. Oh wait, would that offend yet another proud group comprised of the many talented clowns out there?
I would love it. 5 wide outs, no routs, everyone just run somewhere and get open. Johnny runs around, jumps over 5 bodies, then launches the ball 50 yards behind his back. TD!!! Repeat.
