Billichik? He only looks like he can coach because he has Brady. Look at the Cleveland years as well as the early Patriot years. A good cheater , yes. A good coach, no.
You do realize a coach plays a role in a Quarterback's development right? And Billichik has developed a system, which has basically helped Brady become a power house. Is he the greatest coach of all time? Hell no, but he's a pretty damn good one, and his results back up that claim
um, no! yes, seattle once won the nfc west with a 7-9 record, and got a home playoff game. but, there was no team at that time in that division on a par with the pats. they have stockpiled draft picks, are under the cap, and can manuver before the trade deadline to shore up their defense. may not last long in the playoffs, but still do not see anyone else in the afc east finishing ahead of them. if i had to pick one team with any chance to knock them off, would have to go with miami.
We haven't won the Super Bowl since 1/12/1969 or made the playoffs in 3 going on 4 years so I guess then every season is a start over in some respect.

loos great on paper but when you realize he took over an awful NE team and turned them into a playoff team in year 2 w/o BP that pokes holes in the theory and how many SBs did BB win w/o BP's old staff? Parcells was the much better coach, he didn't need a legendary QB to win or make SBs like BB did.
For someone to seriously say the Jets even have a chance in hell of making the playoff, let alone win the divisions, you should be forced to share whatever your smoking with everyone on the board. The Jets are currently 3rd worst in points against and 5th worst in points scored. I guess that's no surprise given our record but damn. We need to hold onto Rex though because no other defensive coordinator in the history of football could lead us to this type of defensive output.
And also probably would save both Rex's and Idzik's job. It's better for all of us if they finish at 1-15, have the top pick, and we have a new GM, HC and Scouting Dept.
