Bills are 4-3..Remaining schedule: at Jets Bye Chiefs at Dolphins Jets Browns at Broncos Packers at Raiders at Patriots I can see 3 to 4 wins: maybe split with Jets, Browns and Raiders especially since Jackson and Spiller are out. Patriots are 5-2..Remaining schedule which is brutal: Chicago Broncos at Colts Lions at Packers at Chargers Dolphins at Jets Bills I can see wins Vs. Chicago, Dolphins or Jets and Bills especially with Mayo out their defense cannot stop the run. Dolphins are 3-3 and have an equally brutal schedule as the Pats: at Jaguars Chargers at Lions Bills at Broncos Jets Ravens at Patriots Vikings Jets I can see wins at Jaguars???, Bills, Vikings and a split with the Jets. Jets are 1-6...Remaining schedule: Bills at Chiefs Steelers at Bills Dolphins at Vikings at Titans Pats at Dolphins It would have been easier with a win last week but we have already played the hardest part of the schedule. I know this is a longshot but there are not many solid and consistent teams in the league right now.
What about the Bills? They have the Jets twice, Oakland, Browns, Phins and KC at home -- and already have 4 wins, could be 9 or 10 wins right there. Phins can beat Ravens and Lions also. Pats can beat Lions and may even beat Denver in NE where Peyton never performs well. Jets have ZERO percent chance of winning the Division.
no . . . they can't. And LMFAO @ winning the division at 8-8. Edit: Also, to get to 9-7 this team would need to win 8 out of its last 9 games. GTFO
9-7 might win the division..8-8 wont. I look at the Jets remaining games and think yeah we can win all those. Problem is the fans of those teams are looking at the Jets and thinking the same thing. If the Jets play against the Bills , Vikings , Titans etc like they played the last 2 weeks , then they will win a lot of those games. But we all know they wont play that well in atleast 7 of the last 9 games. To get to 7-9 would be an over achievement.
As long as the imbecile wearing a sweater vest is running this team, there will be no winning the division. We might win "the most fucked up excuse for a team", but the division is out of the question. The really sad part is that after 6 years there are some on this board who believe Rex is still our best option for a HC. That is where we are at now.
Unless we get two new corners the playoffs are not happenening. Sadly I see us going 6-10 or 7-9 which is once again not bad enough for a great pick and not good enough for the playoffs.
You guys need to come to grips that the season is unofficially over. The Pats are winning a minimum 10 games. The Bills and Dolphins have an outside shot.
Can we start over on 7-9? I bet the over 6 1/2....doh!! It sure would take the sting out of this damn fiasco, lol
Well if we trade for Aaron Rodgers, Calvin Johnson, Tryon Smith, Mike luptai, Revis, Sherman, Earl Thomas, and then get Billichick we may have a shot, but until then HELL NO, put down the weed.
Look, I as much as anyone thinks we can make a good run down the stretch, but you do realize going 9-7 means we win 8 straight games right? We just lost 7 straight. Not to mention as tough as the Patriots schedule is, the chances they only win 3 games out of 8 is just not likely. Say we beat the Bills at home, we have to turn around and go to play the Chiefs in Arrowhead who just beat the Chargers today. It's not unwinnable, but that will be a tough, tough game. Even if we win there, we come back home and have to face the Steelers. It's a Steelers team that isn't as strong as the past, but they play hard and aren't easy to beat. If we go 3-0 over these next 3 weeks, I might start to think about having this conversation.
