Honestly did not know that was him.

He used to mock us married folks for getting...married. And them I saw his pic and realized it was not his decision not to get married.

But man was that some shitty rap. But if his rap game was a football team, it would be the best 0-16 team in memory dawg.

I said it on the game board during the game, and I will say it again here. This looks like one of the teams like the Chiefs in 2012 or the Seahawks in 2011. They had alot of individual players that were playing great football, but the holes on the team were too big to overcome. This team with 1 more solid, not even amazing receiver, and 2 mediocre instead of awful corners would be 4-3 or 5-2 right now.

It's not such a stupid comment actually....the record at this point really is a factor of our schedule (playing Rogers, Manning, Brady). Who else were you really expecting them to beat at this point besides the Raiders and maybe the Lions or Bears? And they've lost pretty much every game because of the secondary...it tells you we're only 1-2 CBs away from having a very different season.

What is the point of being the best 1-6 team? That's not something to brag about.

I'm actually quite okay with the teams safties if the CB issues are resolved. The CB situation is such a mess that its' got the entire secondary in disarray.

No one said they're the best 1-6 team and it's not a matter of bragging or being proud of it....it's a matter of knowing that despite the awful record they're actually only a couple players away from being very competitive. It's an important gauge for them. Some 1-6 teams know midway through the season that they're gonna have to clean house at the end of the year but the Jets aren't one of those teams.

If Patterson hadn't totally flaked out and stayed healthy the situation I think would have been very different, but he did flake out, he got cut...so here we are.

It seems like signing Byron Maxwell is the way to go, and then perhaps another middle/lower range vet CB on a short term deal as some insurance for Milliner. It's a damn shame we never got to see McDougle on the field at all, you never know, he could be pretty damn good. I've heard some posters indicate he was always meant for a nickel/slot CB role in the first place, and I suppose this is possible since he is on the shorter side and Kyle Wilson is a FA this year.

Patterson flaked out because he wasn't as good as the players we have, he was moving down the roster quickly and didn't like it.

Statistically speaking, if you look at the point differential and turnover ratio last year...you are right. The stats say we should have won 5-6 games at most. The difference is this year we are losing the close games. FG re-do last year against the Pats on a questionable penalty gave us the win. This year the Pats SHOULD have been flagged, and weren't, and we lost...

If they finish 1-15, and get the first overall pick, Idzik will blow it

    Finally someone gets it.

You know you're a pessimist when you think pointing out we weren't as good as our record last year is valid...but pointing out we arent as bad as our record this year is ridiculous, even if true.

Is it a bragging point? No. But its still the truth.

Considering all the teams we've faced thus far (apart from the raiders) are play-off caliber teams and how we've played, I don't think things are as bad as so many of you are thinking.
The SD game was Brutal and IMO easily our worst performance, but we all know what we lack yet the team is still largely putting up decent performances against very good teams.
The second half of our season is a lot more easy on the eye I if we play the way we played NE then we can reclaim some dignity.

If barcs sounds like me I guess I'm him.

But seriously, when I start getting confused for a supposed struggle rapper that's my cue to gtfo of this forum.

    Peace.
