You know, since you and a lot of others on here know so much about football and are such a great judge in talent, why don't you apply to be the Jets' new GM?
I'm sure there are more than a handful of people on this board who could do a better job. First of all you have to be smart enough to know your limitations and admit when you're out of your element. Idzik is neither.
Yep. And the offense scored 3 points in the first half (which was very characteristic of that team's offense, which routinely got off to slow starts) and gave up 7 points off of a terrible sack-fumble. Team loss. Both units were dreadful in the first half and much better in the second half.
I agree. Lots of jet fans could make better personnel decisions. Who thought that Geno Smith was the answer to our Sanchez problems? It's not like Geno was a top 10 prospect. We would have been much better off getting a journeyman QB and building up our o-line in the draft.
Because you are full of shit. Your response in the other thread when asked REPEATEDLY why you said hes a thugg was complete nonsense. Talking about the reason why you said that is because he missed a team meeting. As if you knew days later he'll do just that....
Agreed. I still think he has a chance to be good, but having gone to WVU for his entire career and watching him closely, there was never a question of work ethic. Geno's problem has always been getting too affected by momentum, to both extremes. When things are going right he is spectacular. When it's not so good, he forces things and makes bad plays. What makes matters worse is that he's in the most high pressure city in professional sports and the pressure has been on him from day one.
I think that's a perfect description. Incredible how quickly things went bad in that 4 game slide last year or in the SD game this year. _
