Alright, with the teams doing the drawing thing for the playoff tickets, what would you do if you had tickets to the Subway Series? Judging by stubhub, upper deck tickets would fetch AT LEAST $500 at Shea, maybe more(most are around $500 now, would prolly skyrocket for a SS).

So would you keep the tickets, or take the money you could get off stubhub/ebay and run?

Keep, I've never been to a baseball game, and the WS would be something that I'll never forget

it would be hard to resist selling them. also watching the mets in the playoffs every 6 years should give me reason to go, or the world series for that matter.

Yeah...I'd love to be able to go...but damn, the money you could get off them could be real nice. It doesn't really matter, as the chance of me winning more tickets are slim to none, but hey, was just wondering on everyone else.

I saw someone on StubHub selling field level for over $4,000 bucks a piece.

I'm sorry, if that's the case, I'm selling them, and getting season tickets for the next 4 years.

My Yankees WS tickets for this year cost $156 face. Game 1 is going for between 500-1100 on stubhub. I'm in desperate need of cash, but there is still no way I can sell.

    Keep the tix :)

I'd sell them. More and more I just don't enjoy going to the park anymore. I still love football games at the stadium, but there is so much else that goes into that. Tailgates, almost no bad seats, the prayer that the Jets will win in front of me, etc.

There's no way at those prices I could resist selling them. Besides, when I stay home, the beer is cheap, and I have the best seat.

Thats pretty much my mentality. I'd rather have the money than just one game thats over in 4 hours (and would cost me anohter bunch of money for drinks, parking if I drove, etc.)

Besides, I got a wedding to pay for

Dude, you're crazy. If you really need money, this is a huge opportunity. It only comes around once a year, and you will have another chance in October 2007 to go again.

I would not only keep them, I am someone who would pay the crazy price for them if I didn't have them.

I live and breath Mets baseball.

That's why I've registered under my name, fiance's name so far. I'll register my aunt's address as well, since they have no interest in baseball.

One win for me could very well pay for all the photograph/video

Yup. Besides, no better way to watch a game than in front of an HD big screen tv(which you could possibly buy with you "winnings") with some beers and some friends(which you could also buy)

Selling them is the scumbag move, you're just screwing other fans. Trying to get tickets for the express purposes of selling them is even worse.

I've already bought tickets with the intent of going to game 5 NLDS and game 7 NLCS(they were all that were available). I've also gone to like 8 games this year. My looking to sell WS tickets if I could win them is alot differenct than Joe Nobody who's never even been to Shea Stadium doing the same.

Dude, I gotta give you credit. We've gone back and forth all year long, but you are truly a fanatical Mets fan. I have a totally different respect for you than I did a few months ago. If you haven't already got them, I truly hope if the Mets make it, you get yourself a ticket.
