Bridgewater would have had this team at least 3-2.

Yes the offensive skill positions and line needs work but the primary issue Geno can't play with poise, mentally weak and accurate.

He is under too much pressure, too weak for NY.

You need someone unflappable a la Namaith or better yet a Montana

Bridgewater has that level poise, the kid will be the second best qb in his division behind rodgers

I remember the knucklehead who claimed Bridgewater was running one read, that is blatant lie.

Norv lets Bridgewater run the offense as a vet would. He was calling audibles his first game

    This team screwed up.

Bridgewater would be dead by now given the pass protection problems.

Nope, Vikings offense line is just as bad yet he maneavers the pocket like 10 year vet.

Watch the Atlanta game, he is already much better than Geno, played much better vs. Atlanta than Geno last year.

Made pre snap reads, audibles, protection calls, moved like A-Rod in the pocket despite pressure that entire game

5 seconds before the snap and 3 seconds after the snap is what separates Teddy from a LOT of these young QBs.

It's like he knows exactly what is going to happen and what he needs to do.

    Extremely high football IQ.

Exactly, naturally gifted mentally at the qb position.

Thats the stuff elite qbs are made of.

I never figured why the Jets didn't cut bate with Geno in the off season and pick up TB or bring him in as competition. He would have beat out Geno in Training Camp.

Meanwhile Bridgewater is starting to look like Russell Wilson 2.0

He's had one start against a bad pass defense that can't pressure the QB well and he left that one with a sprained ankle. Whatever you posted seems really silly in that light, right?

When a competent qb is making the right protection calls, making sure the offense is in the right play and displaying proper mobility in the pocket in avoiding the rush and identify the open receiver that makes everything much muuuuch easier.

    Watch the Vikes Atlanta game

Yet he was still getting pressured. Vikes offensive line is nearly as bad or possibly worse than ours

The two teams he's played against have a combined total of 10 sacks on the season. The five teams the Jets have faced have 51 sacks on the season.

    You were saying?

You're going to trash Teddy regardless of what he does.

    Too funny.

Don't mind BWay- he's a closet Genophile and was trashing Teddy all last offseason heading up to the draft.

Manziel, Bortles, Carr and all the rest of them too.

He wanted nothing to do with a QB out of a superior class because he didn't want any competition for Geno (from an awful class).

    Was comical.

    I am over Geno.

I gushed over ALL of them but the 2 I was serious about was Teddy (for 2 years) and Carr.
