Sad I have to make this post at the start of October but the writing is on the wall. Mariota, Winston we need a revitalization at qb and overall infusion offensive talent. Along with revitalizing the offensive side of the ball we need to clean house. Woody needs to find his nut sack and cut rex and idzik. I know idzik hasn't had the time to build a team but lets bring in someone who has shown some competency of being a GM, and lets bring in a coach that knows how to develop a qb. Enough of this defensive minded bullshit. We have a shitload of cap space and not a lot of worthy talent to resign. We have a golden opportunity to rebuild from the ground floor after this season and starts fresh. Harbaugh is rumored to be out of SF, if we can someone reel him in with a quality gm that knows personal and not just managing the cap we could become a real team. Time will tell if woody can get his dick out of his own ass and make a change for the positive.
Even if the Jets weren't the Jets and win out the easy part of the schedule to wind up close to .500 you have to remember the God Awful Raiders are almost a shoe in for the #1 pick.
We will pick 2nd. We beat the Raiders who are the worst. I've seen all the other teams and no one else is worse. Not even close. Our talent level is back to Kotite land when we had no professional WRs on the roster. The Browns are 10x better than us. The Jags and Bucs are way better and already have their young QBs to grow with. I would give Harbaugh $15m a year to take over. And I would let Idiotzik wash his car for his salary.
I doubt we'll go #1 overall with the Jags, Titans and Raiders out there. The Jaguars just went with Bortles, and if the Raiders like what they see in Carr, there's a chance we'll have our choice of QB's. Rex may be gone, but I very much doubt Idzik will go after 2 seasons. I don't really want Harbaugh, but will I be pissed if we end up with him? Definitely not. I'd rather try and snag Shaw from Stanford personally. Also, hell to the no as far as Winston goes. I'm all for Mariota but absolutely no Winston.
No QB is worth taking. All have major flaws. If Geno was coming out this year he'd be the best QB available. Best off hoping Brady gets traded to a team with a decent QB and then make a trade for that guy.

Well, Peyton is going to come in next week and take a long piss all over us. It depends how we do after that cause the schedule does lighten up after that. They won't go 1-15 I do actually wonder if this is Idzik's strategy. Suck and get a good QB prospect in the draft with tons of cap room to build around him.
Yes, we will end up with a top four pick. As long as the Titans don't finish ahead of us we'll be fine. And there's no way in hell this team wins six games, it's quite evident they have quit on Rex, and if they haven't they will soon. So yeah give me Mariota, but knowing the Jets they'll take another Defensive Lineman.
