The jets schedule is very tough to begin with, especially the beggining. If you look back at pre season Vick clearly moved the offense better and faster without any reps,he did the samething with the Eagles in regular season. Geno is not a better option. I told everyone this before the season. Is Vick injury prone? yes. But having a competition wouldve made Geno hungrier. You have to put the better player on the field.

It takes atleast 2 years to learn the west coast offense. Vick knows the offense. Geno will only get worse with the Jets schedule. You give Geno one more chance against San diego and if he struggles you pull him at the half. The Jets are already 1-3. Rex's job is on the line and if he's smart he will do just what i said. You keep Geno playing, you guys wont make the playoffs.

What was the point of even getting Vick if you guys arent gonna use him?

You're a Vick fan you don't give a shit about the Jets. You just want to see your guy play.

He's an "Eagles fan" that got laughed off of Eagles forums for being the Vick version of a Tebot. Just search his username.

I have direct TV ive been watching the Jets. I have more sense to know that Vick is a superior qb to Smith it aint even close. Smith was just given the job which was a huge mistake.

I never understood being a fan of a player or a coach. A coach or a player is dead to me as soon as he parts ways with my team.

I would never understand signing to a Jets forum just for Michael Vick.

We needed to know whether Geno was the guy or not. It's still up in the air.

LMAO with that schedule tho? You really dont need to see much more. He will only get worse. I think the Chargers have a pretty good defense. At this point this point you have to say, make the playoffs or think future and let Geno struggle the rest of the season. If Geno or Vick wont be here next season. You may as well start Vick and see what happens. I know one thing,he'll move that offense better than Geno.

Vick is a stopgap. Geno is younger and his development is much more important than playing Vick. All Vick is is a backup and a stopgap in case Geno doesn't workout.

This is stupidity. You want to Vick to start the beginning of the year when the going gets tough, and then bring in Geno for the cupcakes on the back end. Man that's such a novel idea, so novel that no one has done it. I'm glad Geno is playing because it means we will draft a new QB at the end of the year. If we coddled him it would have set us back another 5 years like we did with Sanchez.

Well it appears thats what most of Jets fans wanted. Atleast You couldve let Geno develop more against the weaker teams if Vick got injured. That is what everyone wanted right? to see the kid develop. Well he better get better an fast with your up and coming schedule. To be honest he isnt much better than Sanchez

Listen man, you're talking to the biggest opponent of Geno Smith, and new age read option QB's coming into the NFL. They brought Vick in to compete with Smith, and he couldn't beat him out. Atleast everyone realizes now that Geno wasn't the answer. When I knew it the day they drafted him.

we will never know if the jets should have started vick week one because the Jets fucked up and handed geno the job without a competition. it looks pretty bad at this point though.
