We are a Bad team and people need to come to grips with that.

Geno is pretty bad right now
our secondary is just as bad as geno, with a rookie playing (a very poor) center field
our linebackers are pretty bad outside of Davis who has looked great
our offensive line is racking up penalties
our coaches are wasting timeouts, and have horrible clock management and seem wildly unprepared

    We have ALOT of issues

There is no such thing as rebuilding and if it wasn't for Geno's dumbass decisions, we'd be 4-0 having beat Green Bay, Detroit, and Chicago. We lost by 7,8, and 7 to them.

    False again.

Our secondary has been solid. We are ranked 9th in the league.
Our rush defense is the best in the league.
Our overall defense is 2nd in the league.

Shit quarterback play has gotten us where we are.

yes, there is such a thing as a rebuild. its what happens when you turn ove r90% of your coaching stavve and 40% of your roster under a new GM taking over a 6 win team.

No, there is no such thing as rebuilding.

Again, this team should be 4-0 right now if it wasn't for Geno Smith. If you think otherwise, you are very wrong.

He is completing 60% of his passes on the season. I didn't see the first half yesterday I'm basing my opinion on all the games plus the Lions second half. He's shown improvement his decision making is awful. For the most part he's able to move the ball. If they bench him I would totally understand. But if Geno is their franchise guy you allow him to play out of his slump. If he can't do it then Vick will get a shot.

there certainly is such thing as a rebuild, denying that is just play moronic.

4-0 is laughable, maybe if we had peyton manning. Detroit torched our defense. stafford had what 300 yards and 3 total touchdowns? we are lucky not to be 0-4

Yet you refuse to accept what I have been saying constantly. We should be 4-0 if it wasn't for Geno Smith.

Yet in your view this is a "rebuilding" team. No, you're just trying to find any dumbass excuse for Geno.

Including yesterday's game, he's completing 55% ranking him near last in the NFL

Did you not watch the games?

We had Green Bay beat, but Geno threw a pick 6 and fumbled, resulting in us losing by 7.
We had Chicago beat, but Geno starts of the game with a pick 6 and another interception, we lose by 8.
We should have beat Detroit, Geno Smith turned the ball over twice, one not his fault, the second a complete overthrow to Decker destroying the drive, we lose by 7.

I don't give a shit what you say, but he single handily lost us three games.

because it is an idiotic statement not based in reality. who is to say vick would have made 0 mistakes through 4 games? who is to say those teams wouldnt have answered scores, or still not scored? You cant play these things in a vacuum, too many varibles.

With Vick at QB those teams are still MUCH better then us, and we still would have major issues in the back 7, offensive line, and coaching.

What ever happened to the days when you drafted a QB, you let him sit on the bench for a few seasons to learn? They brought in Vick this year, why not let him start and let Geno learn from the sidelines. Would that really have made Geno a worse player because he didnt get the auto start? This is the same thing we did with Sanchez. Just toss him in there and let him throw interceptions and kill his career. This isn't Andrew Luck here where you can throw him in there and he will do good.

Because people nowadays expect these quarterbacks to instantly make an impact and never sit the bench. They see guys like Luck come out and do it and figure they all can.

Geno should have sat the bench. This is becoming very obvious this year.

Rex is the problem not Geno. Geno has nothing to work with but is asked to be the entire offense. Then when he makes a mistake it is all Geno's fault. Not saying Geno is all pro, but it is the handling of the offense by Rex, not Geno that is the problem. And there is no logical reason to think Vick will be better.

Sure he has and it's foolish to make a blanket statement that he sucks. He's inconsistent which is typical of a young QB. If I'm a Jets fan I'm very concerned at the rate he is turning the ball over but it's to soon not to ride it out and see if he can overcome it.

This kind of ridiculous excuse making for Smith really has to stop. Yes there are problems with Ryan. But even last year Smith was supported by the sixth ranked rushing attack in the league. The Jets currently have a top RB in Ivory, and a great running rotation with Johnson and Powell. Decker is another major improvement, and other receivers, including Amaro and even Salas, made contributions. Meanwhile the OL in fact ranks much higher than the Smith Fans would haev us believe.

And Vick is a far better Qb than this putrid crap we see from Smith game after game. Enough with the masochistic slurping down of mediocrity.

The next receiver that Geno Smith looks off will be the first. Complete and total tunnel vision.
