I posted that GIF and question while you posted your answer to it before. There was no misunderstanding. It was not seen when posting the GIF
Yea ... His accuracy is fine ... Go on pick 1 or 2 passes and all of a sudden his accuracy isn't fine .... There were more than a couple of balls that were in receivers hands that were dead drops ... He made a few bad decisions, absolutely ... But that isn't accuracy, that was plain bad decisions ... I'll take close to 64% for a completions percentage all day long ...
Why not ? If you are inaccurate, then you won't have a high completion percentage ... Or is it that you think our receivers are elite and making plays on "inaccurate passes" thereby making Geno look good ? ...
A quarterback can dink and dunk the entire game and have a 90% Completion rate. Is that accuracy? In fact, you brought up a perfect example. Geno Smith throws multiple passes to receivers who drop the ball, completion percentage falls. Does that make him inaccurate?
Geno isn't just dinking and dunking he's thrown short to intermediate to long passes. His accuracy isn't elite but it isn't terrible either. Decision making is his issue.
63.1% and his YPA is 6.92 which is slightly below average but not too horrible. Pick on his turnover tendencies but in this department there's virtually nothing to bitch about
I've gotta agree with the OP. I've seen few QBs throw it so accurately to the other team and put the ball in a place that they can return it for 6
I'm not saying that it was. I thought you were saying that Geno's completion percentage was high mostly because he was dinking and dunking.
Sanchez was in a category all by himself, Geno is very promisingly moving in that direction though. Give it time, my friend. Geno will be there too, he's young still.
Yep. I think he had picks on the mind. I think he could be more accurate but he is indecisive. I am not sure it is a physical thing with him. He does throw a crappy deep ball. And his touch passes leave something tone desired.
