Who cares if Milliner is out Rex's defense works regardless who is playing corner don't you guys remember
Its not like there wasnt a injury history there with Millner before we drafted him,it was a terrible top 10 pick
im pretty sure when you say he "IS" a really bad corner it really doesnt matter how long he has been in the league. he is either a good corner or a bad corner or a really good corner or a really bad corner, right now. not next year, not when he stops getting injured. id say there is quite a decent bit of evidence that he is not a good corner, really bad, well thats a matter of opinion. he sure as shit isnt really good right now.
I have to look into that,I'm pretty sure he was hurt when we drafted him.Just for the record he has had 5 surgeries in college.Adam Shefter posted this the days before the draft. It seems like he plays a lot when he isn't %100
What's funny is for dominating the Raiders like we did we barely beat them.....I no a win is a win but just saying
As for the rushing Milliner back part last week, I understood Ryan to more or less say Milliner was put in because Ryan wanted to rotate the corners to keep them fresh. In other words he felt if he played Walls and Allen all game long, they would not hold up. Makes sense to me. But what does that mean for tonight if Milliner can't play? Or does but plays hurt?
Not surprised, I think we overplayed him against Green Bay. He should have been available in limited capacity instead we got him out there against Nelson all 2nd half. Can't say I didn't see that one coming.
The Jets had 6 corners active for the game against Packers which includes Milliner. The Jets could of got by with 5, Milliner shouldn't of played.
It's not like Milliner was not laboring out there; for the most part he looked good. He just got beat a couple times. Didn't know we were already at the point where we do not expect him, even when fully healthy, to ever get beat on a double move from an All-Pro WR being thrown to by a future HOF QB? Don't know why so many want to blame everyone and/or everything else for that fact Milliner got beat except Milliner. If Pryor was not late to react and/or took a proper tackling angle on that TD pass, I wonder if there would be all this qualifying going on.
I have to agree, although Dee Milliner is substantially faster than Jordy Nelson when he's healthy. While him getting beat is not totally unprecedented nor unexpected, it's clear Milliner was hurting when he was not able to run Nelson down from behind when he did get beaten.
I'm sorry bro, I'm not trying to come directly at you and put you on blast but the truth is that a lot of people on this thread have been talking about all the "red flag" injuries he's had BEFORE we drafted him. That's complete nonesense! Yes he had a few minor injuries but only missed 1 game in 3 FULL years. He was durable as hell at Alabama. Now here, that's a different story. But don't question why we drafted him.
