We split and went 2-2. How do you see the second quarter shaking out? @Jax Miami Detroit @Cleveland I say we end up pulling out the upset next week against Jax, our team is hungry for a win after that close loss. And the other 3 should be fairly easy wins. 6-2 at the bye week.
We should go 3-1. We're the better team in 3 games (although I still am not sure just how good we are yet). I think the chances that we drop one of 3 games, especially the Cleveland game, is bigger than the chance of beating Jacksonville on the road.
If we're able to keep playing at the level we are,3-1 should be the outcome of the next 4. i'm not counting out a W in Jacksonville, but this is a matchup that doesn't favor us.
3-1. I think we are the better team in 3 of those games, so I'd be dissapointed if we don't win at least 3 of them.
I voted 2-2 but I think I'm being optimistic. Our d is average and we've got no running game. This IS a rebuilding year.
Sorry, that is not optimistic. 2-2? Meh... I am an optimistic guy, and I have complete faith that we can go 4-0 against these teams. Jax- They dont have an efficient offense, and they wont be able to put as much of a tear on our D like the Colts did. Are offense is working very efficient, and I understand they have a good D, but I think CP is to smart to let that be a factor. Miami- Struggled the last 4 games. Culpepper is constantly playing bad, and they struggled against a very bad Texans team. The Jets realize this is a division rivalary, and this will motivate them to a win. Lions- I dont follow the Lions at all, but I know they are not playing well this year. Hopefully we can take advantage of that. Browns- Their D is terrible, and I watch them every week almost. Their offense is showing signs of life. They are starting to really play well offensively, and could pose a problem for our D. I think we will still pull out the win with smart football. No worries, predict 4-0 2nd quarter. I have complete faith Mangini will make this happen. We have a chip on our shoulders after the Colts loss, and we will be even more motivated going into Jax. :jets:
I think this is the camp I am in right now. I just wish there was an easy answer ti shoring up out D line against the run, but I think we need one more draft and a key acquisition to do it. Neverthe less, I think we have a chance at doing pretty good the 2nd quarter of the year, but I will take it one game at a time, because it can all change in one play as we have seen - like last year.
I'm going to the Cleveland game so they better win that one. I think they come out of it 3-1 at worst. 4-0 is not out of the question.
I say 4-0 (And I'm kind of surprised I'm in the minority on that.) Jacksonville is a notch below New England and Indy, therefore we match up well on the same level. And the other 3 teams are clearly beatable.
No, they don't. Check out finheaven.com, they view us as a strong team and they think they will only get 3 more wins max this year. I can't see the lions (0-4) and browns (1-3) fans seeing it any other way.
Shocking, that you would pick us to go 4-0. I say 2-2, but it could definitely be 3-1. I don't like that everybody already has 3 wins down for us against Miami, Detroit and Cleveland. Should we win those games? Sure, but this is the NFL and as the saying goes any given Sunday, yada, yada, yada. Going into the bye 4-4 or better is just fine by me.
 When an optimistic poster such as Rob predicts the Jets will go 13-3 with a brand new regime and all the hoopla, he's got to predict pretty much winning out for his prediction to go right:rofl:
Cleveland might but the other 2 don't a poster above has shown finheaven and I've been on a board that promiently is in the Michigan area and they have trouble thinking they can even win a game, you aren't giving us enough credit based on our performances
