Be upfront with the server. Let her or him know yours Jets enthusiast and am here to see the "Gamg agree!" Buy some food and be a fan. Good luck bro and got Jets!
They get enough people paying the full price that goes up each year, plus the rest of their service. I was surprised to get it for free, I usually do get the price down pretty far, though. The gift card was the shocker. I guess I'm getting better at this.
O trust me, I havent gone for a Jets game and I probably never will. I went there for a Spurs Finals game, we got in there like 10 minutes before the game started. We ordered our food, and within minutes we were served. It was like not even 5 minutes into the game and our food was out.
Thats not the point though, I am willing to pay them $240 but I literally cannot get the service BECAUSE I am not a Direct TV subsrciber, which they want a 12 month contract for. The only people they give the $240 plan to are college students in certain colleges because they cant have a Direct TV Satellite sitting in their dorm room. I understand Direct TV's business model but damn what a pain if you dont have Direct TV. But luckily for people in some 3rd world countries, they get Sunday Ticket for free, but because I live in the United States, I cant even get it even if I wanted it. And Google, weren't YOU supposed to buy the Sunday Ticket? why are there reports saying Direct TV is about to get another 10 years? Why is that Google?
Right, but why actually pay people to stay? That's the bizarre thing. They give discounts if you talk to them for awhile and tell them you want to cancel, but paying you not to leave? That's just stupid on their part.
That's why I like my local sports bar. The peanut farm is where I'm going tomorrow. Gonna get me some beer at 9am.... Seagalley is also a good place, but it's going to be filled with Viking fans in the morning. Fuck those big business restaurants.
I'm currently in the San Francisco market watching the Niners game in HD on Game Pass after downloading the free Hola.org app and purchasing the Game Pass season package for $110 after 15% discount. It's flawless HD picture, Redzone channel, NFL Network, all Thursday/Sunday night/Monday night games, and most importantly NO BLACKOUTS. It was shockingly easy. I'm not a technology guy, and I figured it out and was watching the Barry Sanders Football Life on NFL Network in HD in a matter of 5 minutes.
It doesn't work anymore. They shut it off midyear last season. However, accessing Game Pass through Hola.org's app still works flawlessly. No issues whatsoever.
