Sid Rosenberg is hosting on WFAN today. He just had Fireman Ed as a guest (called in). Fireman Ed was bluntly bashing Joe & Evan -- mainly Joe, for always calling Fireman Ed a fraud. It'll be funny to hear them react on their next show, although it might not be for a while because I think they're on vacation, now.

I met him at Fawcett Stadium during the Curtis Martin HOF induction. I did not find Fireman Ed to be a jerk.
Yeah I just listened to the interview and I gotta agree. He is a bit confusing to, he boasts about "those were the type of people I beat up on the playground", and then says everyone talking crap about him is a internet tough guy, yet when people kicked his ass in the bathroom he hid basically. I really dont care for the boastful type, he sure seems like one.
He makes a pretty good case for himself not being a total mook in that radio interview. IMO it all went south when he sported the Sanchez jersey. Oh well...he's done. Want to get the home crowd excited? Play good ball and win games. Pretty simple.

He was however, the best JETS chant guy the Jets had. I give him a ton of credit for giving up that role. Funny how no Jets fans are giving Donnie(Klecko`s Corner) and Helmet Head any shit about quitting. Fuck the Jets and their new fans. Sit on your fat asses and be the pussies you are. One of the new homo fans(who "bought" their way in with their money) should start a fire or inflate a pumpkin and cause a riot. You still have the same old Jets losing so why not bring some of the violence back we once had. Maybe I`ll go to another game if that can happen.

What wrong with him wanting to get paid for his time? We all know athletes get paid all the time for interviews. Peter sounds like a man who got mad because Ed wouldn't come on his show
I think it's a shame that people are so jealous that they feel the need to harass a fan of the team they themselves are fans of because he is known. I find it pathetic and petty.
I am indifferent to the entire Fireman Ed situation. I just thought it was an insightful article. He bleeds green like the rest of us. No need to knock the guy.
I hear you, but some on here think he should just take the abuse. There are a lot on here that is jealous of him. So fucking what if it true he was getting free tickets and some other perks. These same people crying because he maybe getting perks would also take those perks. Plus he did the Jet fans a solid by not fighting some of these guys who spit on him and walked up on him in the bathroom. If he was caught fighting on camera it would make every Jet fan look bad.
