On a day full of bad news for the secondary we all need to focus on a positive development from camp. Reports from the past 2 days have been very positive for Enunwa after sitting out for weeks with a hip injury. I'm looking forward to him playing against Cincinnati.

    SATURDAY
    4. Quincy Enunwa had a nice day. Enunwa, drafted in the sixth round and one of three rookie receivers fighting for a roster spot, made several catches, including a diving grab on a deep ball from Vick and a catch in traffic on a quick slant from Smith. Enunwa did have a drop, but this was certainly one of the best practices he's had since the start of camp.

    SUNDAY
    5. Quincy Enunwa had his best day. The rookie wide receiver, a sixth-round draft pick, had a slow start to training camp, because of a hip injury. He is still very much fighting just to make the roster. But he had a strong showing Sunday, with just one hiccup. In team periods, he smoked Milliner for a 70-yard touchdown. He later caught another deep jump ball over Milliner, on the play when Milliner got hurt. Enunwa did nothing untoward on the play. Milliner just happened to come down awkwardly. In 7-on-7 drills, Enunwa came up with a shoe-string catch. Enunwa had a drop on a Vick throw to him over the middle. The play was technically negated by a false start. But it was still a drop. Still, this marked Enunwa’s second straight productive day.

Enunwa is a true boom or bust prospect. He could be a nice diamond in the ruff!

He's big, strong and fast so physically he has the tools. Just need to see if he can run routes in the NFL.

Definitely feels as though he's got the potential to play outside at some point this season or next. Our WRs felt a little quiet against the Colts so the return of him and Salas could put a spark in our passing offense. If he strings together a good week headed into Saturday and shows well against the Bengals could reduce the team's dependency on Hill.

He's like an Anquan Boldin. He's not incredibly fast, but he's tough and competes for the football. I really like him. There's so many bubble player WRs though. Between Salas, Ford, Clyde, Saliim, and others...

...it's a stretch for him to make the team. he's gonna need to have an amazing set of games and show he can run block. Wouldn't hurt for him to also contribute on special teams.

I was surprised with his size when I saw him in Cortland. I thought he was another tight end at first. It would be nice if he turns into something

There was talk right after the draft that he could be an H-back because of his size. I think his flexibility is intriguing, as is his ability and want to play ST.

ST contributions are his only shot at making the 53.
He played with the 2nd team STs against Indy, playing spots more typically filled by a S or TE than those filled by WR's. We have a lot of good Safetys playing ST, but he has a shot with his size and speed.

H-back, or even moving him around like they are doing with Nelson, could be interesting as well.

It's great hearing that this kid's got a legitimate shot to contribute. Hopefully, he pans out into something noteworthy.

If he and hill can both somehow contribute causing defenses to account for them our passing game will have a huge boost

As long as he can catch with his hands and not his chest he is already ahead of Stephen Hill

As a Lincoln, Nebraska Jets fan, I was pumped when the Jets took a flier on Quincy, I will say this.... he finds the sticks, I can't tell you how many times he got the first down with 3rd and plus 1. He played his entire college career with a really bad throwing Qb in Martinez, I can't wait to see what he can do. I'm sure some of you up in Cortland have met him, he came to a few of my son's midget football events here in Lincoln and was a stand up kid.
