Wades contract is going to start at $15 million. So hes probably looking at 4 years, 60-70 million.

Wade looked done, but if by some miracle he can return to what he was in 2011 the Heat would have a respectable team. This could really light a fire under him, but who knows. I think we would all pay to see a Cavs-Miami playoff series.

Im 95% sure hes done. I think it would require a miracle for him to come back at a high level.

He needs to go talk to Kobe and take that trip to Germany for that knee procedure.

Everyone is piling on wade now... no surprise. guy has one bad series and the short term memory losers are out for blood. That's why these guys on ESPN are so dramatic, you fools fall right into it..

-It's hard to play into mid-late June over and over again. Takes a toll on a guy's body. Especially 4 years in a row.

-It's also hard to be the reigning champs. Night after night you are getting everyone's best effort. A tuesday night in February vs. Milwaukee? Against most teams the Bucks would pack it in and play patty cake.. not with the defending champs in town- in this instance they will give their best efforts.

Wade was just gassed in the finals. 4 straight years of the things I am referring to. He's not shot as a good NBA player, that's not a reflection of how he will look normally. I could see him returning to form for sure. Say Miami keeps Wade fresh next season, they fly under the radar and dip down a little to like a 6 seed, I could see them being dangerous in the East playoffs with a fresh Wade, a motivated Bosh and Deng....

I dont know about that man, he missed 30 games. If he misses 30 games next season, the Heat wont be in the playoffs.

I dont think he looked to bad against the Pacers, hell it looked like he was healthy. But next seasons he's going to have to play 70 games. I dont think hes capable of playing at a high level if he has to play that many. Lebron wont be on the court drawing all the attention either. You realize the Spurs were double, tripling, and even quadrupling defending James when he got the ball in his hand?

Shouldnt that have made things easier on Wade?

Didn't they do that this year? They still went to the Finals last year. He didn't get any extra rest this summer.

They wont even be in the playoffs if Wade misses 30 games again.

Look if Wade does some how turn back into the Dwayne Wade of 2006 or 2010, then yeah the Heat might be able to actually be very competitive in the East. He probably is extra motivated for next season, but it might not make a difference if hes not healthy.

Dude. Wade has been coat-tailing Lebron for at least 3 years.

Wade barely played in the regular season and, as you say, was GASSED in the finals. Now his team is playing without the best team on the planet. The Heat won't even get past round 1 of the playoffs, IMO. They were done 3 years ago if not for BRONBRON.

So Wade has a bad Finals and he's done but yet he had his most efficient shooting year of his career, hitting 54% of his shots.

Riley has asked Wade the last two years to shed some weight and apparently he has already hired a nutritionist and is committed to losing weight.

Yeah but like I said, Lebron was drawing so much attention, now that Lebrons gone, teams can focus more on Bosh and Wade. I just dont see Wade coming back and being the player he was 3-4 years ago.

You are 100% correct but remember before the Big 3 he was carrying the team by himself, he doesn't have to be that guy because now he has Bosh and a better cast around him.

He was a top 5 player, before James showed up.

I dont have enough faith in Bosh to be the guy.

Are they going to a 5th straight Finals? More than likely not but some "analysts" have left them for dead and I believe they'll be more competitive.

He was carrying the team and he was 4+ years younger. Wade sat 30+ games last season. His shooting percentage is high because of two reasons:

    1. With that much rest, he was always fresh coming off the bench during the regular season.

    2. Lebron James was the sole guy defenses planned against. The goal was to stop LeBron. Teams could beat Miami as long as they slowed LeBron down.

Let Wade play an entire season and playoffs and then come talk to me. That shooting percentage is HIGHLY skewed. If he had shot what he did playing an entire season, then maybe we can have a talk, but he did not deal with the fatigue guys like LeBron and Bosh dealt with throughout the year. It's much easier for a guy to come off the bench after resting for two days and make shots.

Oh kickass. A nutritionist will fix his almost complete absence from last year's regular season.

Your only saving grace was that you didn't show up here during the finals.

Wade put all he had in the Indy series and burned out after that. To win without bron they are gonna need him to do that every series not one. He cant do it anymore, he's washed. He should've got a Dirk deal (25m/3 yrs) and go retire when its up.

I am going to revel in Miami fans' hatred of their team this year.

Fake fucking fans. Say goodbye to your glory, bitches.
