Sucks to see a young guy go down to a torn ACL. Especially one with his kinda talent. Huge loss for a Bills D that looked real good last season.

Never, EVER want to see a player get hurt. I feel bad for Bills fans. I still remember the '99 Jets season looking so promising when Vinny went down right off the bat. Sucks for players and fans of any team.

Big blow for them on defense. Fortunately ACL tears aren't career ruiners like they used to be.

Isn't that crazy? I was just thinking the other day how weird it is. It's like what? Just ACL tear? Oh good, he'll be fine haha. 10 years ago you'd never have thought you'd ever hear anything like that.

Now I don't want to be that guy, but fuck it. Last season we split with the Bills. This year I think the popular choice for the board is for the Jets to win about 9 games. The Bills losing Alonso could be the difference in us splitting with them, or us sweeping them. It could be the difference between 4 years in a row no playoffs, and one more week of guaranteed hope. Just sayin..

Loosing Jarius Byrd was going to hurt this year, but now with Alonso out too their middle/deep defense is going to take a big step back. Still a defense with with a lot of talent, especially up front, but have no doubt this could be the difference between them contending for a playoff spot or not.

at least they'll have an excuse now when they disappoint this season like they always do. Expectations are higher in that city for some reason this year. Now they have excuse #1.
