Him and Cameron Fleming I think are biting the bullet for what their former teammate and Cardinal OLineman Johnathan Martin did. Teams might be leery of the Stanford well and might question their toughness.

Its very silly but I think so. Yankey was at one point thought of as THE best guard in the draft but Xavier Su'a Filo just had a better combine. Yankey has no business being in round 4 and given he's from Sydney Austraila, we might bring back some of the Aussie fans if we take him and/or Tom Hornsey late in the draft(Hornsey is Aussie born and raised, Yankey was just born there to be fair) LOL.

I posted a big list last night and today I'm going to narrow it down to guys I A) like and B) think are good fits and C) are of need or at least of too good of value to pass up.
    rounds 4-5
QB Zach Mettenberg, IMHO the best choice for a developmental QB. Granted my old school mentality is showing here for a guy with a big arm.
RB It's a choice for me between De'Anthony Thomas and Ka'Deem Carey. Carey is the more complete RB but Thomas is the Change of Pace RB the team really needs, more of a Sproles type of guy.
WR For me this one is tough, there are 3 guys I really like here. If I'm going to roll the dice for a boom or bust pick then it's Bryant Martavis. If a want a safer pick then for speed it's Bruce Ellington or for hands and size its Devin Street.
I think in round 4 I'd roll the dice and go with Martavis.
Ol For me Dakota Dozier is my favorite OL on the board.
OLB I like Telvin smith as the only OLB in rounds 4-5, but I don't think he's a good fit for a Ryan defense so I'm just listing him because he's good value in round 4, but not a good pick for the team.
ILB- There are a lot of Skov fans on this board (I'm one of them) but I think Yawin Smallwood is a better fit for the Jets. He's a better athlete with a higher upside, has a knack for rushing the QB and has been used in coverage even against WR's.
he's also flexible enough to be played inside, outside or even as a safety in special packages. In a pass happy league where the traditional ILB is less valued Smallwood is, in my opinion, a very good option.
That Said, I would have absolutely no qualm with taking Skov either.
CB not a need in the 4th, but I'm going to list EJ Gaines here, I really like the kid a lot but at this point probably wouldn't use a 4th on him as there are other needs on the team.
I'm also moving Aikens here just because of sheer raw talent, he really is a Rex Ryan type CB on the field, take away an off the field issue and he's a legit 2nd or 3rd round talent.
Desir I'll keep here too just because of his ball skills, but I prefer Gaines or Aikens.
S A lot like CB I probably wouldn't use a 4th at this point but I'll list Dion Bailey here just because I like his ball skills and the Jets really need some guys who can get the pick.

    Rounds 6-7
Of course anyone from the above list who falls, and they would be priority targets at this point regardless of need.
There really are only a couple of guys at this point I really like, Michael Sam will probably go by the 5th (which is why I had him listed in my rounds 4-5 list yesterday) But he'd be a priority target for me in round 6 if he's on the board.
Marion Grice is a guy I REALLY like who if he's available here would be a priority target.
David Fales would be a good Developmental pick for QB at this point.
Marion Grice if the Jets haven't drafted a running back would be a high priority for me at this point in time, very intriguing RB who has durability questions.
And a guy I'd roll the dice on due to sheer talent but have some off the field issues. Colt Lyerla-First round talent UDFA head from what I understand. I'd roll the dice on him with comp pick though, if he doesn't shape up quickly cut him with no real loss, but if he gets his head together you'd have a dynamite two tightend package with him and Amaro.
    Walt Aiken, CB. Much like
who would I take with the #4 pick of the 4th round? Probably Dozier. Guard is a need and he'd be an extreme value at that point.

Would be shocked if we didn't get ourselves a punter with one of our final picks. Whether its KVDK or Hornsey remains to be seen but watched a little of KVDK on Youtube and I appreciate his cerebral approach to how he punts.

I also figure a punter is a good idea.

    Possible Day 3 Targets:

Yankey - would be my 1st choice for BPA, he will play Guard and some RT.

McGill, CB - But we just picked a CB, he visited, problems he's 25 years old.

Tom Savage - Jets worked him out late, don't be surprised.

Shayne Skov - future starter for Harris

    Bruce Ellington - electric player.

Jared Abbrederis - One of my favorite players, I just don't know if he's on the Jet's Radar.

Martavis Bryant - Clemson connection. The Guys is raw and not very smart.

    Walt Powell, WR.....pre draft visit

Mike Campanaro, WR - I been saying his name for months.

Bryant seems to be a guy with all the physical attributes but his attitude scares me. From all the interviews ive seen he looks very disinterested and there must be some reason why everyone past on him, and i dont think its just for his poor hands. But has the biggest up side in my opinion.

Abbrederis seems to be a bit injury prone and has no top end pace which i think we need.

Ellington has good acceleration which is what we need to spread the field but lacks size so the balls would have to be accurate, which may not happen with Geno.

    No, you didn't.

    This is what you said:

And that's not even close to the truth. Ellington's a nice player, but he doesn't even belong in the same paragraph as Cooks. He has nowhere near the talent or skill level. I can't speak to his character or work ethic, but he'd have to go a loooooong way to be in the same area code as Cooks.
