http://www.newsday.com/sports/footb...8220sep27,0,2848045.column?coll=ny-jets-print You would think that after a big win in buffalo, and going into a huge game against the colts this guy would write something better, the jets are getting some respect from a handful of people, but not all.
You call that pessimistic? Read the Post. On second thought, don't waste your time. That is a fairly objective article, though.
Although I understand your point, I did not read it as too pessimistic, rather more realist. We have only beaten two less than stellar teams, and lost to the only "good" team we have faced. I am very optimistic about what this team can accomplish, but I think TRock was just pointing out the facts....
Every article doesn't have to be rah rah. He's trying to inject some reality into the situation. Just b/c we are 2-1 doesn't mean we are winning 10 games and making the playoffs. There's a long way to go, things look good now but nothing is assured.
^ I didn't think it was too bad. Pretty much stated the facts as they are. The only reference was that our 2 wins came against the AFC patsies. That wasn't fair. Titans had a good defense and the Bills are under-rated.
I agree the article really isn't pessamistic, but Tom Rock sure seems like he has it out for the Jets in some of his articles and blogs. After the Titans win, he dedicated an entire blog article to how close the Jets were from being blown out...which is pretty stupid.
