I know this is hypothetical (at the moment) but Shockeys comments could land him in big trouble with the hierarchy in the board room.
My question is should Shockey become available would you want him on your team ? Hes a big mouth with attitude , but hes a pro bowl playmaker.

Shockey hasn't done shit after his 1 good year.

Just like Winslow, their bark is bigger than their bite.

it cause eli doesn't pass the ball 2 him.
he gets open for a first down play after play yet eli forces the ball to som1 who is in a worse spot then shockey.

    i know u don't gave great TE so i think he wud b good 4 u.
the main quesion is how wud he get on with mangini

Eli Manning doesn't pass the ball to Jeremy Shockey when he is open. Jeremy Shockey gets open on about 3/4 of the New York Giants passing plays, yet Manning hardly passes the ball to him.

I know the TE isn't the Jets stongest position and he would make it alot stronger, but if he does not get along with Eric Mangini he is not worth having in the team

happy KOZ? u just wasted 2 minitues of my life

I agree with Chef, the Giants could certainly do a lot more to get him the ball on offense, but whether it's Eli or the gameplan, they rarely give him much of a chance to make an impact. If Shockey were available, I'd think he would be an ideal pickup to go along with Chad, who's been waiting a long time for a TE with some consistent talent.

He's not a character guy, I don't think mangini would touch him if he became available. Great talent but drops too many passes, disappears in big moments and he's too worried about trash talking and celebrating.

I don't think I could deal with Shockey on the Jets. There aren't many TEs talented enough to justify a WR ego and all the problems that go with it, and Shockey isn't one of them.

While I agree that the Giants aren't using him enough, his headache attitude, frequent disappearing act, and his cocky shit would annoy me way too much

Stat wise he was 4th, Colley and Heap had the same amount of TDs as Shockey but more recs and gates was well ahead.

KOZ, you know it's very difficult to type "one" after "some". It's much more efficient and trendy to use a numerical "1".

Same concept with "wud" instead of spending the extra half second to type an "o" and "l".
