around here you can always find someone with a torrent file for games and other jets oriented video. I know that someone posted the torrent file for last weeks game yesterday. I'm just amazed that someone would sit and break down a punters performance in greater depth than the coaching staff would. How much could it possibly matter to write 11 paragraphs about? As for the folks down under, I think it's great they are getting into the NFL and more directly, the Jets, but theres a ton of info on the internet, including game breakdowns and video. There is nobody that should commit THAT much effort in breaking down a punter. I could see if it was a breakdown of each unit, or quarter perfomance, even on the RB's since it's such a problematic spot for the Jets. But just the punter is ridiculous. and yes, Grahm is one of the best in the NFL when it comes to punters, I love watching him kick. But there isn't any reason to feed into a punters breakdown anywhere.
I was on these boards, but not that frequently. I was working a ton of hours last year. I understand what you're saying, but it just seems like an 11 paragraph dissertation is a bit much for just a punter. You know what I mean? If I insulted you, I'm sorry, just seems crazy to me.
Do you understand what doing a favor for someone is? Even if it takes some time and effort? That is what this is.... a favor. We can watch the games.... most Aussies can't, and even if they did, since they don't understand out game that well, I took it upon myself to explain it as best I could. this report, from what I understand is being pasted at the Geelong Aussie AFL site for any Graham fans that might be interested. I might add that I enjoy doing these for the Ausies who are interested. I would also repeat that Graham's role in beating the Bills should not be underestimated, which you clearly do. Field position is a HUGE part of winning. But, you have cmpany.... there are a lot of football fans that don't understand what a good vs. a bad punter can do to a team. Graham is the first good one we've had since Landetta. maybe you have been working for like 15 years? either your memory is short, you haven't been paying attention, or just need to learn a bit more about the game. Here's the thing.... this post wasn't written for you. You are not the center of the universe. Expand your mind. Oh, and thanks for the hijack.
What amazes me....is that no one has? We want to know,so he tells us in his opinion ' What happened 'with the how,why & where thrown in for good measure. So you understand the game! Good for you!
Great job tbj. Next week...I would appreciate if you can explain how the ball bounces differently if its an end over end kick...or more of an angle toward the sidelines. Also, you left out his pregame rituals...what he ate and stuff. :lol: Seriously...geez kowie!! lighten up. Its a thread for guys that love to follow a punter...dont open the thread. I will say this..considering the wind..field position etc..that for me was his best game as a Jet. Remarkable stuff...the punts in to the wind were perfection.

Back on task guys. TBJ has been a great asset for us Aussies and his reports are ALWAYS very much appreciated and looked forward to by many of us down under Jets fans. TBJ, just let it ride mate, we don't need you banned (again) :rofl: :rofl:
Wow for somebody complaining about too much time what exactly do you call going into a thread about a player on the Jets and hijacking it? Who cares if it's about the punter, I am an American fan but Graham is one of my fav players on the team and I enjoy reading TBJ "disertations" on the punter.
Next week's Ben Graham report will include a detailed analysis of each and very post reply in the thread, with grades. This was just a quiz.... like the preseason, but next week, they count! :drunk:
I have added to my list of "must do before I die" to catch a Jets home game and tailgate with you blokes. I am planning on 2007 and I actually think it might happen. By then I am gonna owe TBJ bigtime and he will be:drunk: for a week. Training camp also sounds like a hoot.
ease up there boys. I went so far as to even say I was sorry if I offended him. I wasn't aware that he was asked to give these 'reports'. I have a terrible case of foot in mouth-itis. Who hijacked anything? i posted 2 things about the thread, then I said I was sorry for offending him. If I was relentless and just continued bashing him I could see that, but 2 posts is hardly taking over the thread.
If you dont like it, dont read it. many posters care about Grahgam and TBJ does a greta job of caring for them.
I took nothing from Graham. I believe I even said he is def one of the top punters in the league. A good punter goes a long ways... dude, I even tried to be nice after my initial posts, no need to be a dick. I have quite a solid grasp on the workings of football and the x's and o's. I wasn't demeaning Grahams role, just the dissertation you laid out. AND THEN....I said I was sorry if I offended you. Even after an apology you throw a little insult my way? not necessary....but then again, neither were my remarks toward you. Guess we're even. :beer:

here in australia we get 1 or 2 of the fox games which are always NFC and the monday and sunday night games which means we never actually get to see the jets games
