I thought it was synthetic weed? Either way, you're right -- Winslow's got some off-the-field issues. Keller's injury was supposedly pretty nasty -- MCL/ACL IIRC -- but he wouldn't be terrible on a 1year show me deal. What's the worst that could happen? We're already used to him not having break-out seasons.
Keller probably wont be ready to even be evaluated for another 2 or 3 months so some team will probably wait till around training camp and pick him up if he keeps progressing.
Who is stopping the run? Who is Brady throwing to? Who is gonna cover the first 4 games while Browner is out? Who is gonna stop Revis from getting burnt over top?
U realize the pats have went to AFc title game twice and Superbowl the last 3 straight seasons, they didn't have Browner or Revis last year and they got there, and the same WRs and Tes currently on roster, what dilusional world do u come from
No they won't. Their star CBs will be shutting down our 20-atts-per-game passing O... All the while having nobody to stop the run. I'm shaking in my boots.
Oh yeah those Charles Rogers and Mike Williams top 10 selections back to back years are absolutely savvy. Right on.
Well, now at least we know a small fact of our schedule, we won't be playing the Pats anytime in the first 4 weeks.
So, if both Ebron and Lee are there at 18 who do we take? If it were me I would take Ebron and grab a receiver in the next round.
He probably comes from the same delusional world as you, where you think Jermichael Finley is a good player and you're in full panic mode over free agency. The Pats are obviously in better shape than they were a week ago. However, free agency is usually just a Band-Aid, especially with the guys they're currently signing. At this point, I'm willing to bet Revis is a shell of his former self. We got the best out of him, Tampa got the worst, and New England will probably get something in the middle. I don't consider Revis an upgrade over Talib at this point.
If it were me I'd take Lee over Ebron, and then try to grab ASJ or Niklas in the second/third region or even Fiedorowicz a little later. Lee has real deal #1 potential. I don't think a WR we could get in the second would have that kind of difference making ability, and more than likely they wouldn't be ready to contribute as immediately as I think Lee will either. I just don't feel like I'm missing out on as much going from Ebron to ASJ/Niklas as I am from Lee to whatever receiver that would be there for us in the 2nd.
