btw, i hope this is ok with the mods here, i thought it would be good if ppl knew about it so they could go.

if the mods have an issue with it, they can take it down.

I think it is OK. You are not trying to sell anything or do anything to promote your on agenda.

cheers mate. I have talked to Ben about his experiences here before but it is definately worth hearing again and there is always something new cropping up. I know he is only the punter but im sure ppl on this board would be interesting in his background etc.

excellent guy to talk to, very down to earth and appreciative of his fans.

I'm sure he's very nice.....but he's the punter. We hate to see him. Let me explain, Magpie. When Graham comes out to do his thing, that means something bad just happened. The QB is running off the field, usually being yelled at by the coach. The receivers are pissed, 2 of them because they thought they were open and the ball didn't come their way, the other because the throw to him was too high...too low, etc. The Jets fans at the game feel it's a good time to use the restroom. The fans watching on TV start thinking about food. Maybe you turn and watch the punt so you don't miss anything, but if something does happen odds are it's going to be bad for the kicking team...like a big run-back. Bottom line, the other team is getting the ball so your mind starts subconciously adding 3 or 7 to the other teams score.

Gator has a point. It's not a good thing when Graham comes out, because we know the offense didn't get the job done.

But I still like Graham for what he does when he punts the ball :) If I was of age I would defintily go to this. I want to meet Graham.

Man... wish I could make this one.... I've been a BG fan since day one, well before most thought he had a chance to make the team last year.

    Good stuff from Gator!

But, we Jets fans know how damaging having a lousy punter can be. Until Graham came along, we went several years as the poster child for bad punting and bad field position. I STILL hope he gets a chance to make a play.... whether it's a pass, a run, or a catch. I haven't met him yet.... and this would be a great chance. Too bad Wednesdays are bad for me.

You see I disagree with the fact that when the punter comes out it usually isn't great but honestly only the 99 Rams scored on every possesion. The punter is an important part of the game and how many games come down to field position? A good punter will put the defense in line to make big plays or hold that great field position, maybe becuase I am a defensive guy I think like this but I can think of worse things than seeing Graham on the field on 4th and 12.

I see Craig Hutchison is behind crocmedia! We'll probably start getting more scoops from the US when he heads over there next month.

Back to the Ben Graham experience. It looks like it's a corporate function, so one would imagine it would be quite expensive.
