Don't get me wrong--I am a huge jets fan, and I hope we stuff Carolina this weekend. However, I am also a realist and my two fantasy teams (both named YerPlayin Tom's Team) are in the semi-finals (different leagues) this weekend. Steve Smith will NOT be on my bench with this opportunity against the jets secondary. And, since I have Josh Gordon in both leagues, if I advance, he will be taking on the jets next week. The jets secondary therefore has a lot to say about my fantasy fate. My prediction this weekend-- Jets 24 (3 TDs for GENO Smith)-Carolina 21 (3 TDs for STEVE Smith). I can dream, can't I? And, yes, I realize that this is not most riveting thread ever posted, but with the jets on playoff life support, you take what you can get.
I have the Carolina defense. I play them week in & week out. This week's matchup won't change that. I'm pulling for a 7-0 Jet win, with the Jets score being a defensive TD.
As am I. I own Cam in more leagues than any other player, and you bet your ass I'm not benching him. I wouldn't make a thread about it though..

i can see the attraction of starting newton but RR defenses usually give the opposing QB some fits so they throw for less yards, TD's, and completions. i definitely would go with carolinas defense and maybe one of their TE's or WR.

It's hilarious how darksiders always preface by saying "I'm a realist". No, you're a pessimist. I'd bet on Milliner getting his first pick of the year this week. I'm just being a realist considering how he's been improving each week. Also the better play by far is Carolina D. This thread is only posted in this section to insult the Jets. "Cro Is Ya Daddy" is in the finals this week. Was debating pickin up Smith but scooped Shane Vereen instead. That means Smith goes off.
Year 7 of a 12 team league. I have no idea why they are there. Buddy who got eliminated first round just cut Vereen and grabbed McFadden for keeper purposes I dunno. Ill take it.
