spikes performance has dropped the last couple of years, and his attitude is not good for the locker room, our young guys on the team dont need a negative influence in the locker room. they had that last year, and thats why so many players got the axe this year. milloy, moulds, adams, etc...
Auggy you have turned into a joke on these and the bills forums, keep ragging on people for 1 thing they did in their life, Spikes gets everyone pumped to play, just because he was shocked they would put vincent on ir for a pulled hammy, i'd question it too, but now he is a cancer, what a joke you have become
In what way? He was a Pro-Bowler his 1st 2 years in Buffalo. Racking up over 200 tackles in those 2 years. And in 04' he had 4 or 5 picks, including 2 TDs. So what exactly has dropped off the last couple of years? Obviously his achilles injury will cause a dropoff, but that's via injury...Not by his play. Like I said, when healthy, the 3rd best Outside Linebacker in the AFC.
Spikes is easily a top flight LB when healthy. But that doesnt happen much anymore. Him on the field wont be good, but lets hope hes not 100 percent.
Takeo Spikes is easily a top 5 NFL OLB. His achilles injury was his first missed game. And on the field/lockerroom hes the team leader. A lot of his attitude lately is the same as any football player, he doesnt like to lose. Hes a competitive guy. I cant fault him for that in the same way I couldnt fault Vilma for doing it if he did. The Bills with Takeo are significantly better then the Bills without Takeo. As we saw in the Pats game he makes a difference.
Bill S Troy Vincent (hamstring) is out for the season. LB Takeo Spikes (hamstring) missed practice Wednesday and is questionable From Fantasyguru.com
simply put: he's a beast. he makes plays, he brings intensity onto both the field and locker room. i can't say i'm happy the guy has injury issues because i don't wish that upon anyone; but i'll admit, i'm relieved -- he's an animal and Chad's his prey. cheers
