How come we've stopped introducing individuals on offense and defense? I mean the Herm Edwards era we reduced to "Here comes the Offense!" and this year it's just "You're New York Jets!" Naming each starter gets the crowd pumped for the game and there was nothing more I wanted to do than give a standing O for Chad and Coles.

(It's also nice to chant sux after every Pat's player)

That might be why we stopped.

Yeah....Every home game, the crowd gets pumped to hearing certain players come out for introductions. It's a bummer when the teams goes out. I use to get really excited to the play intros but not as much anymore when I know the team is just going to come out.

Probably has to do with the mangini/BB teamwork thing. No individuals, no parts, just one big team

Because Belicheck made it a faux pas to introduce players individually during his first Super Bowl with the Pats.

o man, chanting "sucks" after each away player was announced was the best part...i tried to get other people to do that at south carolina football games, but everyone just looked at me...too polite for me

Mangini preaches TEAM FIRST...what kind of message would it send to the players if they came out as individuals?

But I agree it was alot of fun cheering for each guy.

Even worse then the fact that the team does not get introduced individually is the fact that both teams were not even on the field for the national anthem (with a flyover to boot). Last weeks pregame introduction stunk, but most NFL Teams still have thier players come out one by one, so we can still be able to yell Sucks after each intro.
